"The hell..." I murmured in a hallway, looking around. I don't know what's happening yet, but all I see at the end of the hallway is a door.

Wood floorboards creaked under my feet, and there were traces of pink blood in between the cracks.

I walked until I had reached the door, a bit hesitant on whether or not I should open it.

In my other hand was my blue IPod touch. Thank goodness I still had it.

Do I even need to introduce myself? Well, the name's Ashley, by the way. Proud fandom person who loves to just sit back and relax. But enough about me, I'm already getting sick and tired introducing myself. You get the deal, alright cream puff?

"Finally! What took her so long?" A familiar voice said as I entered the room.

"Huh? Who?" A girl's voice asked.

"Wait, there are sixteen of us? That's it?"

"I-I guess there is."

The room soon erupted in conversations and questions once I closed the door behind me. "Lauren!" I said, looking at the girl that I had heard first.

"Hey Ashley..." My friend replied to me, walking over.

"There are sixteen desks with chairs, not counting the main one over there, couldn't that mean that she's the last one?" I heard a boy say.

"Who knows?" A girl replied.

"So, what's going on in here?" I asked Lauren, walking over to one of the desks.

"I don't know. I asked everyone and they said they're here because of the field trip." She replied.

"Oh. Weren't we just in the Multi Purpose Room earlier?"

"I-It did feel like we were, can't we just say it was just a hallucination or something?"

"Still. Probably shouldn't be something we should ignore."

As Lauren and I finished our conversation, a girl was struggling to open the door behind us. "Guys, the doors locked. Can someone help me open this?" The girl asked, and all of the people in the room turned their heads.

"Seriously?"

"Have you tried bashing it open?"

"Nope, it's not budging."

"We're trapped!"

"Well, what do we do now?"

Several people came over to the girl and tried breaking the door, but it wasn't working.

"Well door wasn't locked when I went inside..." I muttered, even though everybody knew that already.

"Guys, there's some kind of metal plate at the back of this desk over here..." A short girl said, and Lauren walked over to her.

"Huh. Wonder what it's for." Lauren muttered, tapping the metal plate several times.

"Any luck on the door?" Someone asked, and one of the girls trying to help open the door nodded her head no.

"Well shoot. What kind of game is this supposed to be?" I asked.

"Why would you assume this is a game?" Lauren questioned.

"Because maybe someone is trying to force us to figure out a way to get out of here."

"Some kind of situation like Maze Runner?" Lauren referenced.

"Sure..."

The room erupted in conversation once more, the sound of four people trying to open the door adding to the mix.

"OKAY CAN EVERYONE BE QUIET!" All of the people in the room stopped talking and turned towards the source of the of the yell.

"Thank you." The voice murmured, muttering something that none of us could hear.

"Is that a holographic girl?" Someone muttered.

"Hey, I'm not taking questions right now. My name is Keana, and probably some of you guys probably recognize me, but let's stray away from that. Look, all of you guys are in danger of this, something, okay? My friends are trying to help you guys. Just stay calm and-"

A big quake shook the room, and I fell down onto the floor, near the main desk, where I could see the metal plate and the hologram girl. Before I could say something, a figure stood next to the hologram, and from my view it looked like it was just a black silhouette.

I could tell that the figure and the hologram were arguing, I just couldn't tell what they were saying.

It pulled out what looked like a green hidden blade from under it's sleeve. It was almost like it was made out of of an actual jewel. The figure threw it down onto the metal plate, sending sparks flying as the blade made contact. The hologram girl disappeared as it gasped.

I glared at the black silhouette in front of me as I was about to stand up and punch it.

The figure acted quickly and pulled the blade out of the metal plate and seemed to nearly stab me.

It seemed to hesitate a little, but I started to black out before I saw the silhouette make it's decision.

I still felt that sharp pain at my side as the cruel eyes of the figure stared at me.
