A/N: HIATUS, BEGONE!!!!!

sorry if  I lied, school just started for me and it's just been really stressful lately, and education always comes first for me

also, happy birthday Catelin! (hopefully I am correct, Jeewoo told me and hopefully I am not getting my memories mixed up) Even if it isn't, I'll dedicate this chapter to you. Cause why not.

"What was that?" Shane asked.

"Something very important. Sorry, I gotta go... I'll think about what you said later okay?" I said, standing up.

"Wait! Ash!" Shane yelled.

"Um, goodbye!" I said, shutting down the laptop and hurrying down to the huts.

I was the fourth or fifth one to arrive. The first thing I saw was terrifying.

"SAEKO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Somebody yelled as I approached the crime scene.

"What the hell..." I muttered, trying to take in what I was seeing.

Saeko was standing right in front of a dead body, grasping a bloody knife in her hands.

"No way... Christian's dead?" Howie said as he arrived.

"And it seems like the killer is right in front of us..." Somebody else said.

"Saeko! Put the knife down!" I heard Lauren say, rushing over to Saeko.

Saeko was petrified, and didn't say a single word.

Lauren tried to get the bloody knife off of Saeko's grasp. "Let go of it..." She muttered as she grunted.

A few seconds passed as Saeko finally let go of the knife. "Phew..." Lauren said.

The rest of us had already arrived at the scene.

"Saeko, can you at least tell us something?" Camryn asked.

"S-She killed him..." Saeko murmured, almost impossible to hear from where I was standing. "M-My friend..."

"Can you at least... Tell us who it is?" I asked.

"C-Can't tell. S-She's gonna kill me... I-If I did.." Saeko replied, looking straight down.

"WELL WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR!" Mono yelled as he appeared in front of us. "HURRY! SNAP OUT OF IT! MOVE! We don't have much time you know! Time is ticking! Augh!"

"R-Right, let's just get a move on..." I muttered as Monogram disappeared.

So... we had to do a thorough search. Despite the confusion with Saeko and the knife, some of us thought something more complex had been done behind the murder. Or just plain.. confusion. All of had to split up and then record what we had observed just to get the full detail, and because of the dwindling amount of people we had.

-Saeko is just plain terrified for some reason. Someone theorized that she witnessed the murder herself, or is just terrified at what she did.

-Some of us had taken note of Saeko's words that she had muttered. Apparently a friend of hers murdered Christian. Saeko was mostly shy around most people, and some of us noticed the people that Saeko usually hung around with. Erin, Tara, and sometimes Katy.

-While observing the place that Christian was murdered, he was murdered near Erin's hut.

-Saeko doesn't have any blood splatters on her clothing, in fact the only places on Saeko's body that had blood on it was her hands, and there wasn't much. It was just blood that dripped down from the knife.

-We interviewed the three closest friends of Saeko. Erin and Tara said nothing, but Katy said that she overheard Erin and Tara arguing and yelling inside Erin's hut, minutes before the announcement was announced.

-We managed to get account from Sebastian and Howie, who were the friends of Christian. Sebastian explained that Christian separated from them, probably because he had gotten lost. Howie added that the last time they saw Christian was at the huts, before they separated from him.

-Ashley also asked Shane for help (whoever that was). She returned and said that Shane managed to get some hidden files that Monogram had about the murder. I don't know how she did it, but we're just not going to question it at the moment. She stated that she found out that the murderer was acting really agressive when he/she killed Christian. Like the murderer was mad at someone. That was all the information Ashley and Shane could retrieve.

~

From what it seemed like, it seemed like the most easiest murder investigation out of all of them. The answer was right in front of us. Sure, we had plenty of help but, we'll put the one who murdered our friend to shame for what he or she did. And  yet... we're still not over the rules forced upon us. Ugh...
