Chapter 12: Dawn Of The Third Day

We've went three full days without any murder. Today was our final chance. Survive in agonizing torture, or sacrifice a person. Well technically two people if we manage to survive the next trial but, it's all going to be difficult if someone is going to tamper with the crime scene.

How has no one committed murder yet? After all those motives, something must have happened by now.

A dagger sat on my desk, like it has been for the past few days. No one has come by and stolen it yet. It just simply... Stayed there.

I decided to relax in my hut for today. Didn't go outside at all, just stayed in. I'll let the others do their thing for a while.

And then I started thinking. What Shane said, and why I was starting to get suspicious of Lauren.

Shane said there was a spy that took Saeko's place. Who could it be?

I noticed that Lauren was holding a picture frame under the table when I started looking at the other picture frames.

She was hiding something that was so important to her on that picture frame.

I thought long and hard on what the face on the frame was.

Could it possibly be herself? Is that the reason why I never saw her photo among the piles of others?

A lot of faces of people who have disappeared were somewhat missing, so I don't know.

But it was really suspicious enough for her to hide a single picture frame under the table with no obvious reason.

Maybe I should cut it out myself. I should probably think about it more later.

"LET ME GO!" I heard someone yell.

Well, I took a nap. Who the hell was yelling outside?

I looked out the window and saw nothing interesting going on.

"What the hell..." I muttered to myself as I went outside and looked around.

All I saw was a random bloody arrow on the ground. I picked it up. Was anyone given an arrow as a random weapon given out by Monogram?

Eh, I don't know. Wasn't paying attention.

I went back inside and placed the bloody arrow onto my table. I didn't even bother to wash it either.

I haven't seen a single sign of Lauren at all this morning.

Well this one time Erin came by with Katy to visit, since Erin was slowly recovering from her injury and dealing with the loss of her friend. They stayed over for a while.

I was actually starting to get bored. Staying inside my hut for long periods of time gets really boring sometimes.

And it's technically not safe to go out either. You're basically just asking to get attacked out of nowhere with no one around. But, since we've all survived here ever since Mono's announcement for three days now, I don't think anyone wants to stay like this anymore.

Someone is going to snap and we'll all plunge into chaos no matter what.
