Saeko's POV

Before I knew it, Lauren disappeared before my eyes a moment after she told me to take her there. I really hoped that she got over to where Shane was.

Sighing, the flames around me died down. I looked around and saw Katy and Erin sitting down and leaning against a wall untouched by the flames. I could tell that Katy was injured. She had a burn mark near her ankle.

Rushing over to her, I took some supplies out of my pocket. I knelt down and gave it to Erin, who was busy helping Katy out.

"How did you find these? Wow, Saeko, thanks for the medicine." Erin said, as she quickly started applying to the medicine to Katy's ankle.

"Oh, and uhm. Katy, was it?" I spoke as I stood back up.

Katy nodded in reply.

"Neha says hi." I said with a smile.

"W-Wait, she did? How did you know that? Have you seen her?" Katy questioned.

"I-It's kind of hard to explain, you see-" I was immediately interrupted by a loud sound coming from the entrance of the dining room. I quickly turned my head to see what the commotion was about.

"Saeko!" I heard a familiar voice shout from the other side of the room.

"Keana? Montana? I thought-" I started to say as the two rushed over to me. I noticed that they both managed to get the door, that was closed shut earlier.

"Yeah, no. We don't simply die that easily. Right Montana?" Keana said as she turned towards Montana who was following right behind her.

"Okay, I'm sorry for making the ceiling collapse on you guys, but uh, I kinda didn't have a choice here." I said, backing away.

"And why's that?" Keana questioned.

"I think you're going to have to blame me for that, Keana."

I quickly turned around. Surely enough, Allison was standing right behind me with her hands crossed. As intimidating as she was, she seemed like her eyes were blank, but not completely black. She also looked exhausted, with bags under her eyes, and her form seemed to be fading. What was going on with her?

Keana and Montana stepped back a little, but readied themselves with their weapons.

"No need. Get out of the way. This fight is nowhere close to being yours."
