okay so I totally forgot why I named this chapter this

and my writing skills are ugh

see this is what losing sanity can do to you, children.

also can we comment on how Lauren can suddenly be anywhere for some reason, like suddenly poof, she's gone

but isn't that how she acts everyday tbh

Again.

What. Just. Happened.

I need someone to talk to. Now.

So Montana is probably dead, there's no signs of her anywhere after the execution and we still have no clue what happened, obviously.

Lauren's gone missing too and I do not know what was wrong with her during those few moments.

It took a while for Monogram to snap out of his zoned-out state, and no, those moments in between the actual execution and that event were certainly not fun.

Several people had started to stand up after being knocked down by the force of the explosion, wondering what just happened.

Immediately, I rushed outside and started to look for Lauren.

She has some deep explaining to do.

~

Okay, this is not the island I remember.

It was as if the moment Monogram.exe stopped responding, the whole island had glitched out too.

Or maybe I'm just seeing things.

Like that Lauren-shaped figure over there.

Wait a minute.

The moment I realized it I called out to her and ran.

"Yo, Lauren!" I yelled.

Lauren suddenly turned around with a terrified look on her face. "What is it?"

"You have a lot of explaining to do, missy. Pronto." I replied.

"Shh, now is not the perfect time to tell you stuff . . ." Lauren muttered.

"Seriously? Lauren, you have to tell me now? What is going on in this place?" I said, raising my voice despite Lauren's command.

"God . . . come on, Ash, be cool with me right now!" Lauren muttered back.

"But why are you keeping such a low voice? Is there anyone watching us at the moment? Because it doesn't seem that Monogram is that person." I shot back.

"Again! Ash, there is no time, I need to get back to–" Lauren quickly cut herself short.

"To the what now?" I questioned.

"Okay, I've had enough of this. I know you picked up a bloody arrow recently. Where is it?" Lauren asked.

"What? Oh, I did pick up an arrow and it's in my hut right now, but-"

"Great! Well, gotta go now . . ." Lauren said as she sped off down the path.

"Goddammit Lauren, why in the world are you acting this way?" I muttered to myself and started running after Lauren until I caught up with her and quickly got ahold of her.
