Chelsie's POV
"Babe, I have work in a hour. We can't do this right now." I told Sammie, which made her pull away with a little bored sigh. "Yeah, okay. I just want to love you, that's all." she said back, "We already love each other, Sammie." I said to her back, before she nodded and got out of the tub without saying another word to me. A few minutes later, I was done with my bath and got out, unplugging the drain and wrapped a towel around myself.
Then, I went into our bedroom and saw that Sammie was laying on the bed, fast asleep. Growing more suspicious, I carefully went over to her and moved her long red hair away from her neck, to see if she was possibly bitten or not. I must be going crazy, vampires didn't exist...
But wait, there was something. It was hard to tell, but I gently placed my two fingers on the side of her neck, feeling two little bumps. A chill went down my spine as I stared at Sammie's sleeping form. She was bitten. I knew something was wrong with her, that was why she was being playful with me. I took a small deep breath, hoping that she wasn't going to turn. Was I really going crazy?
I leaned down and kissed Sammie's cheek, then continued with what I was doing, which was getting ready for work.
Half an hour of worrying later, I decided it was safe to leave Sammie on her own. I was wearing my work outfit, which was a pair of black jeans and the cursed buttoned t-shirt. I hated wearing them, it made me look too professional. I also chose to leave a note for Sammie, letting her know that the front door was going to be locked for her safety. Arriving into work made me feel anxious as Myra was in her new office just around the corner.
"Chelsie, you are with me today." Myra announced, causing me to walk directly into her office and saw my desk attached to Myra's desk. I sat down in front of her, taking out my laptop and placed it down. "What's wrong?" she asked me, "I found out that you have done something to Sammie last night." I replied to her, saying the full truth. "What do you mean by that?" she asked, "I felt two small bumps on the side of her neck when she was asleep." I told her. Myra bit her lip at this, then she got up and went over to the door, closing it.
Then, she turned around and took off those ugly red glasses that she was wearing. "Don't be alarmed." she told me as her eyes began to change colour. They matched the glasses, a bright red. "Let me guess, we aren't going to work today?" I asked her, "You called me in to reveal your true self?"
"You are a really clever human, aren't you?" she replied, "I like that." she then giggled and began walking over to me.
"But, you aren't so clever to leave a newly turned vampire who might be really hungry by now..."
What the fuck?
