Chelsie's POV
The food that Sammie made me feel satisfied, and I was no longer worried about Myra's bite. I think I was just overreacting at the thought of the bite being a 'turning' bite. But, that didn't explain the freaky mirror. Whoever that woman was, she wasn't me. I was going to remain as a human.
"Hi, beautiful." Myra began a conversation with me, causing me to look up to see her sitting in front of me, at the end of the dining table. "Where have you been?" I asked her, "Places." she simply replied, before she moved over to me smoothly, "Sammie told me what happened when I was away. She said that you have seen this vampiric woman in the mirror, and she looked like you?" she asked me, I nodded. "Well, I must admit that is strange. I didn't turn you or anything, and you know that by now as you had some food." she told me. "Am I a reincarnation of someone you used to love?" I asked the big question.
Then, her eyes flashed a dark purple as she was thinking back to her past. Then, she looked at me. "Yes." she quietly said the answer to me. "Who?" I asked her, "Sky." she replied. My heart then skipped a couple of beats, being in a bit of denial when she said that I was a reincarnation of her. "I really am her?" I asked her for confirmation. Myra placed her hands on top of mine, sighing deeply as she closed her eyes. What was she doing?
Suddenly, I saw a quick memory of Sky through Myra's mind.
Oh shit...
"How are you alive?"
"I got a second chance from hell."
"I'm not religious like that, so I have to believe you. I'm sorry that you went through that." I apologised. "It's not your fault, it was mine. I forced it on her, to become a vampire. She couldn't take it and yeah, you know the rest." she told me.
"Sorry to ruin the moment, babe, but I want a cuddle. I need your warmth." Sammie interrupted us, asking for my attention and warmth. "Yeah, I need it too." I told her back, before I got up from the dining table and grabbed Sammie's hand, and walked with her upstairs, into the bedroom.
We laid down, and she placed her arm around my waist. I placed my hand against her cheek, then widened my eyes a little in fear. She was colder than before, and a bit glossy.
"Do you mind if I have a little nibble?"
Fuck.
