Chelsie's POV
"Babe, it's time to wake up. We have a special day ahead of us..." I heard Sammie whisper into my ear, causing me to flutter my eyes open as I looked around the room, confused to what had happened yesterday. I was glad that the hypnosis was only temporary. "What is special about today, Sammie?" I asked her, "You don't know?" she replied, "The blood moon will rise again for the first time in ages. Myra told you."
"No she didn't. I don't remember her telling me that." I told her, before I got out of the bed and walked over to the bathroom to wash my face with cool water. Not freezing cold, just cool. I let out a soft groan to myself, my mind was beginning to wake up and I was able to think about how to escape from this nightmare. If I was stuck in hypnosis, I was going to end up like Sammie. A few minutes later, I walked back into the bedroom to notice how 'glossy' Sammie was. "Are you okay?" I decided to ask her, "Never better, babe. I got you and Myra, what more could I possibly ask for?" she responded in a creepy way which sent chills down my spine.
I gave her a thumbs up, not saying anything back because I obviously didn't want to get on her bad side since she was a vampire and they can get nasty. In my opinion, they were vile creatures who only seek blood and nothing else. Sammie then looked up to me, her eyes beginning to glow a little bit. My eyes met hers, causing another chill to go down my spine. Her eyes were searching mine, just like Myra did with me. I closed my eyes, then began moving away from this situation by walking out of the bedroom and I then opened my eyes again to see where I was going.
"You look really kissable today, Chelsie..."
Kissable?
"I'm not kissable." I told Myra as she stood in front of me, wearing a black robe. "You know that's a lie..." she purred, causing me to look down and tried to avoid her dangerous eye contact by walking away from her and headed downstairs to hide for the rest of the day. Luckily, there was a room under the stairs, making me enter it and closed the door behind me slowly and quietly as possible. The room was small but big enough to have two people in, and there was a light switch so I turned it on to see that it was one of those coloured lights, and it was a dull red. Yep, I was going to see red for a couple of days after this was over. I was also glad that I wasn't claustrophobic, otherwise I would be in trouble.
About five minutes later, I watched the door open to reveal Myra, watching her step inside with me and shutting the door. "What are you doing?" I asked her, "It's better if we have fun in the dark..." she replied, switching off the light. "I was expecting Sammie to find me, not you..." I began until I felt Myra's finger touch my lips as a way of saying shush. As she did this, her purple eyes started to glow brightly. I gasped, feeling my body temperature rise as her eyes continued to change. They were still purple, but they had a tint of red in them. "Now the light can be turned back on..." she said softly, before she switched it back on and I pressed my back against the wall as soon as I saw her true vampire form.
Her fangs looked like mini daggers, deadly sharp and enough to kill you in seconds. She licked her lips, before she leaned down to my ear. "Like I said...you look really kissable today. Shall we test that theory?" she seductively whispered...
