Chapter 13 - Panic Attack

Chelsie's POV

I woke up the next day, blinking a few times at the ceiling before slowly looking down at Sammie who was on top of me. Then, I looked over to Myra who was a little bit too close for comfort as I felt her breathing against my neck. It looked like they were both out, like fully out. Last night completely exhausted them, but I wasn't exhausted. I was ready to go. 

I let out a small quiet sigh, which made Sammie stir awake a little but remained asleep. How the hell was I going to move her without causing another mess? 

Suddenly, I felt the tip of Myra's tongue touch the side of my neck, meaning that she was awake as she clearly knew what she was doing. "No." I said to her, before I moved Sammie off me in a rush to escape and got up, heading towards the bedroom door until Myra wrapped her arms around me from behind, shushing me. "It's alright, just calm down for us." she told me softly, "Don't bite me again, please. Don't use those fucking fangs. Feed on Sammie instead, not me." I told her back through deep breaths. My heart was skipping a couple of beats from adrenaline and fear. "Okay, that's my fault for letting my dark side take control. I won't bite you, promise. Just, please calm down." she said, causing me to take some slow deep breaths through my nose. I began to feel calm again, which made Myra move away.

I turned around, looking at Sammie who witnessed the whole thing, rubbing her eyes as she got disturbed. "I'm sorry." I apologised to her, "You don't have to apologise for anything, it's our fault for not keeping our hands to ourselves." she responded. I walked over to her, and hugged her. 

She hugged me back, sighing a little bit. "Why don't you go and have a nice shower? We'll give you some space..."

"I want you to join me only. No fangs."

"No fangs." she repeated my order, then she softly grabbed my hand and led me over to the bathroom to have that much needed shower.
