"Mom, I will drop you off at my place for the time being. Go back to Seoul in the morning, not right now. It's dark. Okay?" I said as my Mom, and I was following the ambulance using my car.
"Don't worry about me. I told you I would take a taxi," my Mom argued
"Mom, please. if you need anything also" I wiggled my eyebrows. "Doctor Nam is right next door."
"Yah does it look like it's the time to joke around," my Mom said, narrowing her eyes at me.
"I'm just saying. If you need anything, I will be at the hospital" I laughed. I dropped my Mom off at my place, then headed to the hospital. The patient was already in bed in the emergency room as I saw Doctor Kang Taehyun examining the patient. I approached him
"Why? Is it that bad?" I asked
"Well, we are waiting on the CT Scan," He said. "But he seems to be a victim of a hostage situation."
"Yeah, I know", I replied. "I already called the police."
"Wait, aren't you supposed to be off today," he asked
"Well, I was until this body fell on my car while I was driving. that's when my Mom and I called the police and the ambulance."
"Oh, is your mom okay?" he asked, frowning his eyebrows
"Yeah, did you call the guardian?"
"Yes"
"He is under cardiac arrest, doctor", the nurse called out
"Shit, you compress. I will insert the intubation," I commanded Doctor Kang
"get two-litre of oxygen," I told the nurse.
"Yes," she said and ran off. I managed to insert the intubation and connected it to the oxygen.
"The CT Scan is out," the nurse said as she pointed at the laptop.
"I will check for a pulse," Doctor Kang asked. I moved to the laptop and started to see the injuries.
"Is there a pulse? " I asked
"No," Doctor Kang said and went back to compressing. I couldn't believe what I saw in the CT Scan.
"Dislocation in the hip."
"Broken ribs"
"Intracranial Hemorrhage"
I could feel the nurses and Doctor Kang freeze as soon as I said that.
"Noona calls Doctor Park quickly," Doctor Kang yelled and went back to compress.
I left the emergency room and called Doctor Park. I felt a huge weight fall on my chest as tears fell on my cheek. Shit, there is no way we can stop the bleeding in his brain. We don't have the right equipment.
"Eunha, I didn't expect-" Doctor Park answered.
"Doctor Park, you need to come to the hospital right now," I said, cutting him off.
