After Beomgyu left my office, all I could think about was the video and how Doctor Yeon handled the situation. At this point, I was just sick of her shit. Not only did she betray me five years ago, but she also tried to ruin things when Beomgyu got hospitalised, and now she is just messed up on this case as well.

I got out of my office and started walking towards her office. When I reached there, I saw her packing her things, ready to leave the hospital. I knocked on the door and opened it.

"Oh, it's you", she scoffed as she saw me.

"Can we talk for a second?" I asked, feeling my blood boil, and I still haven't gotten to the point yet

"Is this about the second surgery?" she asked.

"He tried to sue me for malpractice, and you hid the fact that there was a video recording of the second surgery," I said, and she froze in her place. "Why did you do that?"

"How did you know about the video?" she asked

"Why would you hide it?" I asked

"Well, the only reason it failed is because of you, I-" she started, but I chuckled, making her stop "are you laughing right now? you put the patient's life at risk."

"Is it comforting to you? blaming your mistakes on other people?" I asked

"Listen, Doctor Min. Sometimes you need to be a bitch in life. You need to step on people's toes here and there to get to the top. I-" she said

"No. There is a difference between being a bitch and being pathetic." I said, and her face dropped, "Being pathetic is just wandering around and stepping on people's toes recklessly and making everything go to shits. then blaming other people."

"Being a bitch is having your head straight in the game," I said

"Yah, are you calling me pathetic?" She scoffed

"I never said that. but good thing you know it yourself," I said

"Yah, what happened to you? you were never like this," she said, glaring at me

"Yeah, I wonder what happened," I said sarcastically, "Now if you will excuse me, I'm busy. It's Friday after all" I checked my phone that indicated it was three o'clock in the morning on a Friday. But also not wanting to spend another second with her.

I started walking to the staff room, and when I reached there, I heard loud voices coming from the men's changing room. It was more like two people speaking in a loud voice. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but there was some sound of hitting a metal hard, maybe the lockers. Suddenly a loud noise hitting the metal was heard.

Shit, did someone fall? Should I go in? What if it's an emergency? I approached the door, trying to hear, but all I could hear was two people speaking. Just as I was about to press my ear against the door to listen to the conversation, the door opened, making me jump back and hit my hip on the edge of the desk. I groaned in pain as I massaged my hip.
