He never gave you your card back.

That morning you had woken up with the worst hangover of your life. If you didn't have work today you would have stayed in bed the whole day to try to cure it, but alas, you had to go to work.

Pulling yourself out of bed, you did your normal morning routine. After slipping into your work clothing and packing a lunch you quickly made your way to the coffee shop on the side of the office building.

Walking into the shop you had noticed that there was a someone you had never seen before. His dirty blonde hair was pulled back into a bun, an green apron placed on top of his tan crew neck sweater. A name tag adorned his shirt saying 'Albedo'.

"Morning. Welcome to Jitterbug coffee, how can I help you today?" You told him your order and paid. While waiting for your drink to be made you noticed all of your coworkers walking together. There was a small part of you that envied them. Would you be doing that as well if you had gotten along with all of them? Why did they dislike you anyways? It's not like you gave them a reason to (until yesterday that is).

While deep in thought the man from the counter placed the coffee and food next to you. You muttered a quick thank you and speed walked to the next building over. The coworkers from before were all piled into the elevator, laughing at some joke Kokomi probably made. As you rushed into the lift they went dead silent. Everyone looked at their phones and started typing away. 'Probably about me.' You thought, mentally rolling your eyes at them. Who needed friends, they were just a distraction.

You didn't even bother putting your lunch in the fridge today, it was just going to be eaten by Gorou anyways.

As soon as you sat down at your desk you could already hear Kokomi gossiping about you to the other workers in the area.

"Did you hear?" She sad loudly. "She put laxatives in Gorou's lunch. She is such a asshole." The other works hummed a response, nodding their heads. "I don't know why they even keep her here, she doesn't do any work." Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. Is that what they really thought of you? Just a asshole who does nothing?

Just as you were about to stand up to cry in the bathroom, someone's voice chimed into their conversation.

"You do realize she does more work than anyone in the office right? Have you not seen her desk?" You peeked over to see Yanfei standing over Kokomi's desk with her hands on her hips. "And I saw Gorou eating her food. If anything, he deserved it." With that she walked away. She noticed you staring at her and shot you a wink. Seeing someone stand up for you gave you a spark of hope. At least someone fought for you.

After lunch your boss Yelan asked you to go and pick up coffee in the mondstadt district. As much as you didn't want to go near that place anymore, it's what the boss ordered. She handed you her card and told you to be on your way.

Soon enough you called an Uber and eventually made it to the coffee shop that the boss wanted her drink from. After, you walked out into the sidewalk and got pushed to the ground by a stranger. "Dammit! Watch where your going!" He yelled. You realized that the coffee had gotten over you and the poor person that you had bumped into.

"Oh my god. I am so sorry." You looked up at the stranger to only see a familiar face. "Have I met you somewhere?" The man's red eyes widened with what seemed to be horror.

"You." He seethed.

"Me?" You questioned, pointing at yourself. "Do you know me?" Then suddenly, memories from last night came flooding back to you. "Diluc! I am so sorry!" You got on your feet and got out some napkins that were tucked away in your pocket. As you brought them out they were soaked in coffee.

Looking between the both of you, you got the worse of it. The white blouse you had on now had a large splatter of dark roast coffee on it, while Dilucs black sweater and sweatpants had nothing to be seen. He must've been out for a run before you doused him with hot coffee. "I'll pay to get your clothes cleaned." You said, pulling out some cash from your wallet.

"Don't bother. You're the one who needs a change of clothes." Diluc raised his hand to his temples, rubbing them to hopefully stop the oncoming headache. "I'll get you a new shirt. I live right by here." And just like that you were following behind him meekly, avoiding the states of bystanders who saw the whole thing.

In five minutes you had reached a small brick apartment building with a black gate in front of it. After going up two flights of stairs you finally made it into his home. "Stay here." He ordered, walking into a dark hallway. You heard a door creek open and then shut. As you waited, you looked around the area. Everything was in modern fashion and kept neatly organized. A living room was on the right of the room, and there was a wall that separated the kitchen with an island that had fruit in it. The place was decorated with beer and wine bottles with fancy art on them. Something that you noticed was that there was only men's shoes at the door, meaning that there was so girlfriend (that you knew of). Not that you cared anyways.

After waiting around for a minute, Diluc came out with a big white blouse. "This is the only thing I have." He blatantly said. "Bathroom is down the hallways and to the left. Shoving the shirt into your hands, you walked down the dark hallway and turned left.

Locking the door behind you, you looked into the mirror and stripped off the top that was coffee stained and put on the one Dilic gave you. The shirt was practically a dress on you until you tucked it into your work pants, even then you could tell it was a men's shirt. Rolling up the sleeves so you could see your hands, you unlocked the door and headed back out into the entrance. Diluc was sitting on his couch reading a book. Once he heard footsteps he looked back.

"It looks big on you." Wow. First thing he says to a woman is that 'it looks big on you'? Such a ladies man.

"Thanks." You muttered. "And thank you for letting me borrow your shirt. I'll bring it back tonight." You folded up your old blouse and hung it over your arm.

"Good." There was no friendliness in his voice. "I'll walk you out." Is all he said before he got up. Now that Diluc had a good look at you, his face started to feel warm. Thoughts of how you would of looked in his other shirts occurred in his mind. Even though the man was annoyed by you, he couldn't deny that you where attractive. Though, he would never say that out loud.

"Thank you again."

"See you tonight Y/N." The way he said your name sent off butterflies in your stomach, but you ignored the feeling. After getting a replacement coffee for your boss you hurried back to the office. Time to get back to work.
