More days has passed and you still haven't shown up at the bar. You were mad, and rightfully so, but you missed Diluc. So here you were standing in front of your closet wondering what you wanted to wear. What would catch Diluc's eye? Something in the corner of your closet peeked your interest.

A deep red bodycon dress hung on the hanger in the corner. You reached out and grabbed it, the soft fabric gliding over your fingertips. "I think this will do." A smile graced your face.

You stripped yourself of your clothes and slid on the dress. Your leg peeked out from a slit in the dress which made you even happier with your choice. After looking in the mirror and fixing yourself up you made your way down the stairs and called an Uber.

As you sat in the car, the man driving kept looking back at you but didn't say a word. A shiver went up your spine. You brought up your arms and crossed them over across your chest and he immediately looked away.

When pulling up to the bar he had looked back for a moment and smiled. "Instead of giving me a tip, how about you give me your number?" You looked at him with disgust.

"Get lost perv." You said while getting out of the vehicle. The driver yelled obscenities out of the vehicle as you walked away. All you did was throw him the finger while walking past the bouncer and heading inside. At this point you were well known around the bar and the bouncer would let you in without a second glance.

"Hey Y/N! Got a hot date tonight?" One of the regulars shouted at you. You shook your head and shouted back to him that you just wanted to dress up tonight. "Well you look amazing darling." You gave them a smile and went over to the bar.

Instead of Diluc at the counter there was a man you've never seen before. He had short brown hair and brown eyes to match. The man wore a dark blue tavern style vest and was skillfully cleaning the glass. You leaned over the counter and sheepishly waved him over.

Once you caught his attention he walked over to you and softly smiled. "How can I help you today?" You returned the smile and asked where Diluc was. With a surprised look he had told you he took the day off today. With a nod you sat there for a moment and pulled your phone out of your purse. 'Should I text him?' You thought. Of course you texted him.

In moments he responded saying that he was home. You got up and dusted any imaginary dust off of yourself. While yelling a quick thank you to the new bartender you made your way out and swiftly walked over to his apartment. Your heart was pounding in your chest.

Was this a good idea?

Of course it was. You just wanted to see your friend. The word still felt like a heavy stone in your chest. Why did it make you feel like that?

A couple of minutes later and you were in front of the apartment building. You shot Diluc a text that you needed to be let in through the gate. In moments you saw him walking down the stairs to the entry way. He wore a dark red t-shirt that hung loosely around his torso, grey sweatpants were bunched up on his legs and he had red slippers to match his shirt.

He opened the gate and looked down at you. His fiery eyes looked over your body, pausing at the dress and then moving back up to your eyes. "Why are you here?" Diluc said bluntly. As much as he was happy to see you, he wondered why you came to his apartment at this time of night.

"I wanted to talk." Is all you said. Diluc nodded and moved to the side to let you walk in front of him. Swiftly, you walked past him and waited for him to lead you into the building. Diluc moved in front of you and let you follow.

Eventually you made it to his apartment door. After letting you inside he offered you a glass of water. "Yes please." You said while standing in his doorway awkwardly.

Diluc stood in the kitchen and filled up a clear glass with water. "You can sit down." He chuckled while pointing over to his couch. You nodded and walked over and sat down while keeping your hands on your lap. Being in his apartment made you feel weird, maybe because it was unfamiliar territory.

He walked over and handed you the glass. You gingerly took it out of his hands and took a long sip. "So." Diluc started. "What did you want to talk to me about." A nervous feeling started to rise.

"Well." You sheepishly laughed. "I wanted to tell you something." Now you started to get the nervous sweats. Diluc raised an eyebrow at you and told you to continue. "Um..." Maybe it was a bad decision to come here. It was just a mistake. "You know what? Forget I said anything." You placed the glass down and got up. "I shouldn't of come here." Diluc swiftly grabbed your arm before you could make it further.

"Y/N." He said sternly. "What were you going to tell me?" Well, it's now or nothing.

"I came here to tell you that I liked you Diluc. That's been the reason why I was avoiding you." The two of you stared at each other for a moment. Then, Diluc got up while still holding onto your arm gently. "Diluc?" You said.

One of his hands went up and caressed your cheek. "Y/N." He whispered as he closed the gap between you.
