Soon enough, you were standing in front of the bustling bar called 'Angels share'.

Taking in a deep breath to calm your nerves you pushed through the door and scanned the room. Red hair was peeking out between the pack of people up front by the bar. 'Found you.' You thought while stomping and pushing yourself through the crowd. Who does this man think he is? Why would he say that he liked you but then just stop talking to you completely after?

You were angry. You were more than angry, you were enraged. How could someone be so cruel?

"Hey!" You yelled out to him while slamming your hand on the table to get his attention. While others looked your way, he did nothing. "Diluc!" You yelled again. This time he glanced over to you but continued washing a random glass that he had picked up. "I know you can hear me asshole." You seethed. "Can we talk privately? Please?" You watched as Diluc let out a long sigh and put down the glass. He walked out from behind the bar and stared at you. Taking that as a yes you walked over and followed him to what seemed to be a private lounge area for employees to take a break.

Diluc leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. He looked at you with a bored expression. "Well? You have my attention?" Suddenly you started to feel like how you did at work when your boss would call you into the office.

Anxiety rose up as you opened your mouth, but nothing came out. Diluc gave you a moment to form your words. "I just... Don't understand." He raised an eyebrow and asked you what exactly you didn't understand. "We did all that stuff and you just left me in your apartment. I tried texting you but you read it and never answered me. I don't get it Diluc. You said that you liked me but then pulled this shit. Are you bipolar or something?" Fury sparked in his eyes but it kept it from showing on his face.

"I understand why you are upset Y/N. After we had that... intimate time I needed time to think about what had happened." He pushed himself off the wall and walked around the room without looking at you. The truth is, he did that so he wouldn't see the disappointment and sadness on your face. "I always told myself that I wasn't going to date." Before he could get another word in you interrupted him.

"Then what are we Diluc." He stopped where he was and looked down at the floor.

"As I was saying. I told myself I wouldn't date, I would like to keep that way." That moment is the moment you felt your heart break into a million pieces.

"Then...Then why did you tell me that you liked me!" Tears started to fall down your face.

"I'm sorry." Is all he said.

"You fucking better be Diluc." You said quietly before storming out of the room and out of the bar. You felt used and dirty. Why would he use you like that? We're you just a game to him? "Fuck this." Taking the sleeves of your shirt, you brought them up to your face to dry your eyes. "I have other things to worry about, not some stupid man child who doesn't know what he wants." As you said that there was a tap on your shoulder. Looking back you saw Venti standing there with a wine bottle in hand with a bendy straw hanging out of it.

"Are you okay?" He asked. You laughed dryly and shook your head. "...Do you want to talk about it?" That night Venti walked you home as you talked about what had just happened. Saying that Venti was upset would be an understatement, he was livid with him red headed friend. Something good finally happens in his life and he ruins it.

For the rest of the night you and Venti binged some random T.V show that he let you choose on Netflix. It did make you feel better but it couldn't change what just happened. It was going to take time to heal, and that's exactly what you got.

The next couple of months was rough at first but you had gotten used to the feelings that you experienced. It was too much for you at the time but now you felt more mature about the whole situation.

During those few months you had grown closer to the people in the alcoholic anonymous group and even with some people at work. Two of those people in fact was Kokomi and Yanfei.

It surprised you when Kokomi came up to you and asked to grab lunch, but you couldn't deny free food so you went along with it. Surprisingly she apologized for how she treated you and even admitted that she was a bit jealous at how well you do your work. The two of you laughed about the things in the past and forgave her. That was one of the things that made life at work even better. Kokomi wasn't badgering you about work anymore and you finally made two friends that you could hang out with at work as well.

With all the good things happening, bad things will follow. The only downside to all of this is that you and Yae had a falling out. Once you had told her about all the events that had happened she didn't seem to care and only talked about her own life, so you dropped her. As much as you didn't want to, you didn't feel like she was a good friend. At least you could look back at the memories that you had together and smile.

Currently, Venti called you and asked if you would like to go out to drink with a one of his close friends and the others from the group.

"Going out drinking together? I've seen how you drink Venti, and I don't want to babysit you." You heard the man laugh on the other side of the phone.

"Come on! There is a deal going on at Angels Share. Do you really want to miss out on that?" The name of the infamous bar made your stomach churn.

"I'm not so sure Venti..."

"Don't let that bastard not let you have fun. Come on, let loose. It's just going to be me, Kaeya, Rosario and you. Beidou would be there too but she had something planned with her girlfriend. If anything happens we got your back." Hearing Venti say that made the anxiety that was building up settle.

"Alright. I'll see you guys there at 8."
