Next time you came in he was going to act like there was nothing between the two of you, even if it was just a blossoming friendship.

The soft sound of fabric ripping is what awoke you from your slumber. "What the..." You softly mumbled. Wiping your eyes, you took a look around the room before spotting Gizmo clawing up the couch. "Gizmo!" You yelled, causing the cat to hiss and run off to hide. Before you could even get up the headache came rushing to your head. You yelled out in pain and laid your head back down onto the couch.

Looking to the side, a water bottle and a case of Advil was placed on the coffee table next to you. "Wait. How did I even get home." Blips of last night appeared in your head. "Oh." You murmured. "I'll have to thank him today." As got up again the pain was worse than before. Quickly, you downed the Advil and water before grabbing your phone. Normally hangovers were never this bad but you had gone a little overboard last night.

Every bone in your body ached as you dragged yourself out of the warmth of the blankets. Today you were going to call in. There was no way you could work in this condition. Yelan wouldn't be happy to get your text, but she could survive. It was Friday anyways.

After relaxing for a couple of hours and taking a warm shower you looked at the time. It was about 1:08 pm. 'Would the bar be open at this time?' You thought while getting on your jacket. As you looked down at your clothing from last night, you saw that Dilucs clothes were still clinging to your body. With an aspirated sigh, you maneuvered the shirt off your body so that you only had a sweater and jacket on. 'I would take it to his apartment but that's weird.' Once you had fed Gizmo and have him attention you were on your way.

Instead of calling an Uber, you had decided to take your bike out. A car ride to the bar was normally 25-30 minutes with traffic, without it was a good 20 minutes so hopefully it would only be about a 30 minute bike ride.

Peddling away, you enjoyed watching the change of scenery from reds and yellows to more relaxed colors such as gentle blue and a beautiful green. Everything in the Mondstadt district reminded you of medieval times or something old school. The scenery here was a lot more quiet compared to the Liyue district as well. While Liyue had shop keepers out until they were kicked out, Mondstadt had all of it's stores closed by 9:00, besides the bars of course.

As you arrived to the street that Angels Share is on, you noticed that Diluc was at the bar fiddling with keys. "Diluc!" You yelled, peddling faster to catch up to him. His head whipped around. The expression on his face was non changing, he seemed to be bothered by this.

The bike screeched to a halt, stopping just before the tip of his foot. A sheepish smile made it's way to your face. "What do you want." He said, a hint of anger lacing his voice. Suddenly you get apprehensive about talking to him. Maybe he was just on his man period.

"I just came here to give you back your shirt." You pulled the now crinkled white blouse out of your bag. "Oh..." Diluc ran his hands through his hair. You noticed that his hair was down today other than his usual updo. It looked nice on him. "I also want to say thank you for last night. You're a good friend." You paused. "Speaking of that, would I be able to get your number?" Diluc raised an eyebrow.

"Are you hitting on me?" The cheeks on your face turned as red as his hair. "I'm kidding." Even though last night he told himself that he would be pushing himself away, he couldn't. Not from you at least. "Here." Diluc pulled out the notebook he normally took his orders in and wrote down his number. Ripping it off, he held it out in front of you. Just as you reached out for it he pulled it away for a moment. "Don't drunk text me. If you do I'm blocking you." You nodded eagerly and snatched the paper out of his hands. There was a moment of silence between the both of you. "How are you feeling?"

You laughed a bit. "I feel like shit. I don't know why I decided to bike here." Diluc and you shared a smile. "Well. I should get going." You awkwardly got back on your bike. "By the way! You never said I couldn't drunk call you " With that you sped away. You never got to hear his laugh as you biked down the street.

As you stopped at a crosswalk you and put Diluc's number in your phone and shot him a text that sounded like you were already drunk. Almost immediately he sent a response.

Diluc: What did I say Y/N

You shot back a text saying that you were joking with a wide smile on your face.

Diluc: Get home safe.

Will do! : Y/N

A small blush made its way to your cheeks as you read over the text. 'Awe, he's worried about me.' A giddy feeling rose within you as you got home.

As you entered your apartment Gizmo had welcomed you with a loud meow, he weaved between your legs as to say welcome home. You picked up the small creature and carried him in your arms. In the next hour your phone had buzzed once again. There was a text from Diluc asking if you had gotten home safe. After confirming that you were still alive you placed down your phone and turned on the TV.

Gizmo fell asleep in your lap as you watched whatever show that was playing at the time. For you it was a romcom that happened to be on. It was about a girl and a mean man slowly falling in love. You laughed at the male lead as he made some sort of snarky comment. "Reminds me of Diluc." Then it hit you. "Oh no." Those butterflies in your stomach started to rise again as you thought about him. "I'm starting to like him."
