Her red eyes stared into his direction, probably for the third time in one minute. Was he trying to make her look dumb? Or was he trying to see how long she would last underneath the pressure of his presence? 'What is he planning? I know that he is planning something.'

For Celestia Ludenberg, the (h/c) haired male was the devil himself. Even though she changed her identity, her facial features had remained the same. Maybe it was her fake accent that threw him off. Her voice became higher because of it, after all. Still, that wasn't a good excuse.

'Maybe I'm focusing too much on the facial features. I could be reading too much into it.' Her eyes finally moved away from him. Didn't he notice her gaze? Or was he one of the people that were just blind when it came to things like that?

Suddenly, the Ultimate Dealer looked around. So he did notice her stare. It would've surprised her if he didn't. Slowly, she stood up from her desk. (Y/n) was sitting on his desk as well, chatting with his new friends: Leon Kuwata, Makoto Naegi and Sayaka Maizono. 'He has found his people.'

A small part inside of her body was questioning her sanity. Why was she worrying so much about someone like him? Her thoughts were spinning when she asked herself that question. 'Because I'm afraid. I don't... I don't want to run away again... Not like back then...'

She saw herself sitting in a famous casino, having just drawn another card. The black haired female was so sure that she would win. How could she not with a hand like that? Until her opponent laid down his cards. They were far better than hers, practically stomping her into the ground.

As someone that had always been so sure and confident when it came to her skills in the field of gambling, Celestia liked to bet as much as she could. A big risk automatically meant a big win. But not that time. She hadn't lost all of her money, but a giant part of it.

Her eyes travelled to the one that was dealing that night. (Y/n) (l/n). His smile made her sick. How could he look at her like that? Her eyes caught a card falling out of his sleeve. "Are you really going to count that win?!"

"Why wouldn't I? This man just won fair and square. Or do you have a problem with it?" The fake smile never left his face. Or maybe it was real and he was just happy about the trick that he had successfully pulled off. "Fair and square?! What a joke!"

Blinking a few times, the Ultimate Gambler managed to come back to reality. The moments of her first and only loss were still haunting her. Clenching her teeth together, she walked past the group of friends, only for someone to gently grab her arm. It was Maizono, who had a smile on her face.

"Celestia! Have you met our new classmate already? He's a really nice guy!" Her words made her want to spit into his face. A nice person? They just didn't know about who he really was. If they did, they would stay far away from him.

"Oh, I have. I don't like dealers very much. Most of them are liars that cheat their way through their games. Maybe you should pay attention to that." Her eyes never left (y/n)'s face as she spoke, who looked rather confused. 'It seems like he really doesn't remember me.'
