"Celestia probably won't be coming to the classroom today, she's always on time..." Aoi was once again saddened. The Ultimate Gambler hadn't responded to any of her messages, nor to her calls. "It seems like it, yes." Sakura Ogami sighed, crossing her arms. She didn't like it when her friend wasn't feeling well.

"I feel like all of it is my fault." (Y/n) sighed. He didn't mean for all of that to happen. When he saw Celestia for the first time after so long, he was quite shocked and hoped for her to have forgotten him and the past.

'I was such a d--chebag back then, I can't blame her for hating me.' Another sigh escaped his lips. The (h/c) haired male did regret his past actions, more than the Ultimate Gambler could ever guess. 'I do want to apologize to her. What I did wasn't right.'

He remembered the night as clear as day. It may not have been professional, but he helped someone with cheating in a game. An easy task for him, considering he was the dealer of the table. And he still remembered Celestia's face. She was more than just devastated or furious.

"(L/n), what do you mean by that? Do you think Celestia left because of you?" Aoi's eyes widened, while Kyoko sighed. "It's obvious. She left because there is bad blood between the two of them. I won't try to ask you about it. It would be pointless, right?"

He only nodded. After that night, he didn't deal at that particular casino again. (Y/n) wasn't able to deal at all for some time. It had never been his job to help others cheat. Still, the boredom had won against the logic inside of him, leading him to do what he did.

'I wonder if she would even accept my apology. What I did was... Quite unforgivable.' And while he really felt sorry, he wasn't ready to tell his new classmates about it. Telling them would probably result in destroying every bit of sympathy that they had for him.

"Wow... I wonder what caused you to hate each other that much..." Aoi mumbled, staring down at the donut that she was eating. She had no clue. None of them did, which was definitely better for his sanity. If they started guessing, he would want to run away and never come back.

"I don't hate her, Asahina. I really don't. I just... We know each other from when we were a bit younger and something happened back then. I don't want to elaborate further, so please don't question it." The words came out of his mouth before he could hold back.

"Oh, I didn't mean to offend you or put words into your mouth. I'm sorry..." Her eyes saddened even more, causing her white haired friend to shoot a glare at the (h/c) haired male. "Don't worry about it." He quickly said. "I didn't mean to sound angry at you."

The day went by rather slowly. Every single second made the guilt - which was already eating him up on the inside - worsen. It felt like someone was suffocating him with his own actions. He was wrong about trying to ignore what happened as it only made her grow angry at him.

"God, I hate this..." Opening the door to his dorm room, the (e/c) eyed male sighed. Finally, the day was over. Even though he wasn't sure if he would be able to sleep, (y/n) still looked forward to the land of dreams. Maybe he could escape his guilt there.
