"Why are you both looking at me like that?" Celestia's red eyes were focused on Kirigiri and Naegi. "Did I do something to offend you? If not, I would like to know the reason for why your gaze keeps sticking to me." Her words made the Ultimate Detective clear her throat.

"We're sorry to disturb you, Ludenberg. Could you answer one question as honestly as possible?" Her eyes narrowed. 'What is she talking about? Is it about (l/n)? Hah, of course it is. What else would they ever want to know about me?' The Ultimate gambler thought for a moment.

"Actually, I think I know what you want to know. Is it about the past that (l/n) shares with me?" While Kirigiri kept a rather calm and collected face, her friend's eyes immediately widened. "So it is. Naegi, you just exposed the both of you with that expression."

His head lowered in slight shame. "I'm sorry, Kirigiri..." He only earned a nod from the purple haired detective, who immediately focused on the female in front of her again. "So, you admit that the two of you knew each other? (L/n) did tell us that something happened."

'What did he tell them?' While she seemed unfazed on the outside, anger was bubbling up inside of the Ultimate Gambler's body. 'What a nuisance.' "Is that so? Even if he told you a few small details about it, it is still none of your business." Her gaze turned into a glare.

"I know that, but (l/n) seems to be in a really bad place." The atmosphere in the room was becoming extremely tense and uncomfortable as Celestia didn't answer for a few seconds. She looked a little bit confused. "And why are you telling me this? Help him, if you feel bad for him."

"We tried to. He won't tell us anything, so we came to the conclusion that it must have something to do with your relationship." Naegi sighed, trying to avoid looking into her red eyes. "Again, it is not something that concerns me. How would you know, after all?"

"Please listen to us, Celeste. Can't you talk to him? I'm sure he feels bad for whatever happened back then." Her eyes narrowed. "You two are becoming insufferable. It is extremely rude to demand something like this, especially since you seem to know that I do not like him."

"I know that we're being rude!" The brown haired male looked like he was about to burst from anxiety. He clearly wasn't made for situations like these. "Please, just give it a try! Isn't it tiring, holding up a grudge like that, I mean?" Celestia let out a laugh.

"Tiring? A grudge?" Leaning down slightly, the black haired female placed her hands onto the fabric of her skirt. "I am most certainly not holding up a grudge. I am just refusing to talk to him, because he did something unforgivable back then. So would you drop this subject already?"

Letting out a sigh of defeat, Naegi nodded, shifting his gaze away from her. "Okay. I apologize for not dropping the topic sooner, Celeste." He gave both her and Kirigiri a small bow, before leaving the room quietly. The Ultimate Gambler was bothered by the fact that his friend didn't follow right after him.

"My apologies as well, Ludenberg." Kirigiri's light purple eyes rested on her face for a few more seconds, before she finally turned around and exited the classroom. 'They seem to care a lot about (l/n), even though he doesn't play fair at all. Hm...'
