"Celeste!" For some reason, Aoi was becoming really clingy when it came to the Ultimate Gambler. "How about you join all of us for a dessert after school?" Celestia looked up from her cup of tea. "Dessert? What is it that we are celebrating? Or are you just craving something sweet?""Actually, it's a mixture of both!" Now a little confused, the black haired female tilted her head to the side. "Is that so? Would you be caring enough to enlighten me?" The Ultimate Swimming Pro smiled, giving her a faint nod. "Well, we're celebrating our newest classmate, (y/n) (l/n)!"
Silence. 'Celebrating him? What makes him special enough for everyone to act like this?' "I see, that sounds nice. But I have never noticed that you were celebrating the new students. Is that a new thing that we are doing now?" She sipped on her tea, seemingly uninterested.
"I..." Aoi's smile wavered for a seconed, threatening to crumble off. "No, we just never invited everyone at once... I'm sorry, are you not in a good mood, Celeste? You seem so... Passive aggressive...?" Her voice became a little bit quieter, choosing her words as carefully as she could.
"Passive aggressive?" Celestia couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Please, do not worry, Asahina. I can assure you that I am in a great mood. I was just a little bit tired, that is all." Her words made the brown haired girl feel better. "Glad to hear that, Celeste!"
'How am I supposed to get rid of Asahina? I guess I'll have to agree, or she won't leave me alone.' Nodding to herself, she gave her classmate a charming smile. "Just send me a message on where and when we are going to meet. I would like to join you later."
"Do you have something to take care of beforehand? You can just come with us right away!" Internally, the black haired female sighed. If she went with them, she would have to walk alongside (y/n). "Yes, I do have something to take care of, please do not wait for me."
"Hm, alright!" Giving her a bright smile, Aoi ran off to her best friend, leaving Celestia alone again, much to the relief of the Ultimate Gambler. 'Celebrating him?' The words repeated in her head, over and over again. 'What's there to celebrate about him? He ruined my previous life!'
Then again, she never revealed her past to anyone. How would her classmates know what happened between the two of them? They were the innocent ones in that case. She shouldn't put her anger towards them, even if she was extremely annoyed and a bit confused by their actions.
'That is right.' In an attempt to calm down, she touched her forehead, closing her eyes for a split second. 'This little grudge of mine should only be directed towards (l/n), no one else.' She sighed. 'And maybe his accomplice from back then, but I don't know that man.'
So now Celestia had to spend time with all of these people without loosing the last remains of her nerves. 'What am I even worried about? I'm a master when it comes to acting. I'll pretend to like him, so I can leave the gathering as early as possible.'
Making her way out of the classroom, she nodded. 'Yes, that is what I will do. I will treat (y/n) (l/n) just like the rest of our classmates.' Her red eyes scanned the different people that were still in the hallways. 'He won't last long against me anyways.'
