"I got to get a ship of my own to be captain of. Then I'll be free as the open ocean wind and have my own adventures." Jules said to himself after he finished cleaning the poop deck. "Quit your foolish daydreaming and go do something useful like checking the fish net! We seem to have caught some fish in it. Bring in the catch!" The captain shouted to a male fox Mobian named Amadeus Prower. "Aye Aye, Captain!"Amadeus said as he brings up the net filled with fish however there was something else with the fish. "Jules! 'mere and take care of all the fish and whatever else is in this net! I have an errand to run! Captain's order!" Amadeus Prower didn't want to deal with whatever was in the net and preferred it to be Jules problem since Jules had no rank at all among the crew.

"Alright, Amadeus actually makes a fair point I have no rank... because Captain gave me the worst job, he also thinks I'm stupid and I can't swim but what is that thing in the net...?" Jules said to himself as he saw something large and purple moving frantically inside the net. He had a small knife, decided to only use it if needed to self-defense. Carefully he went and opened the net to release all of the fish and the purple creature inside it. The creature he saw left him breathless. The creature's top half looked like a female purple hedgehog with long silky dark purple hair and beautiful emerald green eyes that glisten like emeralds however her lower half had fins instead of legs which soon came to Jules' realization that the purple creature he found was actually a Merhog and it was a real one in front of him in person.

Jules couldn't believe how beautiful the purple Merhog was. He slowly approached her, but she fearfully backed away from him fearing the possible worst. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. You're safe with me. I won't do anything to harm you. I promise." Jules assuringly said to the female purple Merhog. "A-Are you sure...?" the purple Merhog asked him in an timidly tone of voice. "You actually can understand me? Even better! My name is Jules Maurice and l'm at your humble service my lady. May I ask your name?" Jules asked the purple Merhog. The Merhog looked at him momentarily and saw that he was sincere. "Princess Aleena." the Merhog replied timidly.

"You're a princess!?" Jules said in complete shock

"You're a princess!?" Jules said in complete shock. "Yes...I am..sorry for the way I reacted towards you...I got attacked by a different pirate ship...they've spotted me while I was up here in the surface..... I managed to escape but I got this in the process and got caught in a fishnet..." Aleena said as she was explaining to Jules how she got attacks as Jules soon saw the injury Aleena had on her fins. "I'm sorry you got attacked earlier. I'd protect you, but I know you can't stay as your people will eventually come looking for you and I'd hate to be the reason why you went missing. I'll help you get back in the water." Jules said to Aleena as she hugged him and she soon said. "Thank you for your kindness." Aleena said to Jules with a small smile on her face as she continued hugging the male light blue hedgehog.
