"Just saying as a fair exchange." Jules said to Aleena. "Just wait till we get home. I'll make you do more than wag your tail for chili dogs." Aleena said to Jules. "Save that for when we're at your private get away playhouse." Jules said to Aleena. Aleena blushed darkly when she realized what she was saying publicly. "And now it's my turn to embarrass you." Jules said to Aleena with a smirk on his face. "Wait! Jules—!" Aleena was cut off by Jules when he soon started petting Aleena's head causing her to start purring softly. "At least I know they'll be happy together. I just hope if they have sons that their sons don't become royal playboys." said Charles. "We shall see about that, Charles." Leonardo said to Charles before looking back at Jules kissing Aleena while holding her in bridal style.

"Is this supposed to be a wedding rehearsal or something?" Leonardo asked Jules. "I actually hold Aleena in my arms most of the time whenever we go somewhere." Jules said to Aleena's father. "It's true, Father." Aleena said to her father King Leonardo. "I challenge you, Jules!" Leonardo challenged Jules. "So what?" Jules asked Leonardo nervously. "Dad?" Aleena questioned her father. Charles, Pyro, Flama, Arthur and everyone there were nervous about Leo's public challenge to his future son-in-law. "Challenge me?" Jules asked Leonardo. "I heard rumors that you swim faster than me." Leonardo said to Jules. Charles saw that look on Jules face. "Your majesty, you're going to awaken a dormant competitive spirit in my bro—" Charles said to King Leonardo before he was cut off by Jules. "You wanna race?" Jules said with a wide grin. "You accept my challenge?" Leonardo said with his own wide grin. Aleena and Arthur never saw that look on Leonardo's face before. "I accept your challenge, your majesty." Jules said to King Leonardo with a smirk on his face.

"You're on!" said Leonardo. "No one in our kingdom was ever bold enough to accept a royal challenge from the sea king himself!" cried Arthur. "There's only one person I know of who rivals Jules in speed." Charles said to Arthur. "Who would that be?" Arthur asked Charles. "Me!" said Charles. "This is going to be an interesting one because it's a race between my father and my fiancé." said Aleena. "If there's someone that I know can win a race besides me, it's my younger brother." said Charles. "And we're about to see how it all goes down." said Isabella. "I was never good with water. I'll sit this one out." said Pyro. "I'm not so keen to being in the deep end either." said Flama. "Jules, you're still holding me." Aleena said to Jules while she was still being held by him. "Oh right, sorry Aleena." said Jules. Jules puts Aleena down on her feet. "Thank you." Aleena said to Jules. "You're welcome, Aleena. And now I'm ready to race." Jules said to Aleena before he turned to King Leonardo.

Everyone in town made their way to the ocean shore. Jules walked into the water with King Leonardo walking beside him. They walked into the water until the water was at their waist. "Prepare to drink my waves!" Jules said to the Sea King. "Prepare to be drowned by them!" King Leonardo said to Jules. "Dad!" cried Aleena. Leonardo turned his legs and feet back into fins. "Let's get this race started shall we?" King Leonardo asked Jules. "As you command, sire." Jules said to Leonardo. "Let's go!" Leonardo said to Jules. Both Leonardo and Jules took off at incredible speed as they blasted ocean water on the people around them. Jules was swimming at fast speed, was shocked to see Leo keeping up with him without difficulty.

"Aleena definitely wasn't lying when she mentioned that you were also fast!" Jules said to Leonardo. "Of course she knows, Jules. She's my daughter after all." Leonardo said to Jules. "Keep in mind Jules, that you're fast in water and can now breathe in water now is only because my powers allowed it." Leonardo said to the light blue male hedgehog. Jules had no legit grounds on which to refute that truth. "In that case, let's see what else your shared powers allow me to do, sire!" Jules said to Leonardo. "Alright, Jules. You asked for it!" Leonardo said to Jules. Leonardo picked at the speed and swam faster than before. Jules did likewise and started moving faster. Being a natural merhog, Leonardo moved through the water and against the current with ease, like a hot knife through butter. Jules however wasn't as familiar with the current as Leonardo.

"Is everything okay, Jules?" Leonardo asked Jules. "I'm fine! Just making my way through the currents." Jules said to Leonardo. "It's not like running on land, is it? Water is an entirely different beast and if you don't understand its nature, it will overtake you. Even a fish can be drowned in water." Leonardo said to Jules. "I actually will admit to you that I wasn't good when it came to water back then because I never knew how to swim." Jules admitted to King Leonardo. "All water-breathing creatures need oxygen to survive. If there's no oxygen in the water, we drown. Our grills filter the water for oxygen. No different from surfacers getting oxygen through the air with their nose and mouth." King Leonardo explained to Jules. "I didn't know that." Jules said to Leonardo.

"And now you know. You're like a fish fighting against the current, Jules. That will eventually tire you out because it's like fighting against an entire ocean. As a fish, you must learn to move with the current not against it. Let the current thrust and propel you with your speed." King Leonardo said to Jules. "Looks like I still have a lot to learn." Jules said to Leonardo. "And that's why you have me to teach you these things, Jules." Leonardo said to Jules. Arthur was carefully observing the sea king's actions and how he was interacting with Jules during the race. "The sea king is holding back on Jules. He's not giving it his all." said Arthur. "But why though?" asked Isabella. "No one was able to beat my father in a race once but ever since he heard that Jules was really fast. that's probably why he challenged Jules for a race." Aleena explained to Isabella. "That actually makes sense." said Isabella. "It's more than that. From what I'm seeing, King Leonardo is teaching and training Jules how to properly use his speed and abilities in the ocean and how to maneuver through the water more efficiently. If the king really wanted to, he'd have beaten Jules and teach him nothing." said Arthur.

"I guess we have to watch and see who will win." said Isabella. "Did you not listen to when I said earlier that if the king really wanted to, he'd have beaten Jules and teach him nothing? The sea king merely used the race as a means to teach and train Jules. He used Jules' love for racing to goad him into diving into the ocean." Arthur told Isabella. "Arthur, I did listen, okay?" Isabella said to Arthur. "Okay, I was just making sure if you were listening or not." Arthur said to Isabella. "Isabella, you weren't paying proper attention. Arthur rightly called you out for it and you're trying to make it look like you were wrongly accused of not listening. And don't bother to lie to excuse yourself." said Charles. Isabella was embarrassed that Charles exposed her. "I really need to stop lying..." Isabella said to herself. "Next time tell the truth and be more honest." Arthur told Isabella. "Okay, Arthur..." Isabella said to Arthur.
