Arthur was walking through town with Isabella guiding and showing him around. He looked to stop at a motel to stay at for the night. He carefully watched how customers in front of him did it so as to not draw awkward attention to himself when his turn arrived. "Are you okay, Arthur?" Isabella asked Arthur. "I'm fine thank you. I'm sure can have a room rented out for the evening. You don't need to stay if you have others errands to do with your crew mates. I'm sure by now they're wondering where you're at now at this late hour of the evening." said Arthur. "I've finished all my errands for today, I'll see you tomorrow if you're still around." Isabella said to Arthur.
The next day Isabella was walking through the streets when she saw Jules walking alone across the street from her. The purple female hedgehog he was with the other day was nowhere to be seen in the area. "Jules, where is that girl that was with you yesterday?" Jules turned around and noticed that Isabella was here. "Well..." Jules and Isabella both saw most of the people from town rush over to the shore as if there was something or someone at the shore.
Jules heard Aleena telepathically call out to him urgently telling him she needs his help now. Jules immediately bolt with his blurring speed to the shore. "I only left her there briefly to get her that surprise present I wanted to give her and now this happens?!" Jules yelled. Arthur heard about the commotion happening by the shore. Taking no chances on Aleena's safety, he rushed over there as fast as he could to investigate and intervene if the princess was in danger.The people from town were looking at Aleena with her Merhog tail exposed and they were very shocked that the female purple hedgehog they saw was a Merhog this whole time. "So the girl we all saw was a Merhog this whole time?" asked one Mobian. "That's what it looks like." said another Mobian.

Earlier, Jules asked Aleena to wait for him by the shore as he wanted to get her a surprise gift. Jules was only gone for a few minutes when she felt strange, an outside power that wasn't her own or her father's forcing her to revert back to a merhog, which caught her off guard. "W-What.....? But I didn't even use my magic to turn back into a Merhog..." Aleena said to herself. Jules rushed to the scene at jet speed not wanting Aleena exposed further. People were gathering around her. Jules didn't care who was in his way as he used his wind force to blast everyone away from her. Reaching her, he quickly took her into his arms and rushed out of the area. "That was very close... Aleena, are you okay?" Jules sees Aleena bursting into tears because everyone saw her as Merhog. "I don't know what happened... I didn't use my magic to turn back into a Merhog..." Aleena told Jules while tears were still coming out of her eyes. Arthur was tracking Jules and Aleena's current location. It was imperative that he find them fast. He couldn't risk having anything happening to the princess, knowing that the town and all of its people would suffer Leonardo's wrath if anything happened to Aleena.
Aleena used her magic to turn her fins back into legs and it worked. "I don't know what everyone thinks of me now that they saw me as a Merhog..." Aleena said while she was still crying. "I just got a word from the people and none of them were interested of capturing or selling Aleena." Jules and Aleena turned to see Charles appearing in front of them. Charles continued, "I went to investigate the commotion, believing Aleena was in danger. But when I got there. They said that it was a beached dolphin at the shore that was in need of help." Jules and Aleena were confused by what they heard from Charles. "What!? But that wasn't what happened! Aleena was at the shore when something forced her back into a Merhog!" yelled Jules. "The people said they saw no merhog at the shore. Only a helpless dolphin." Charles told the couple.
"That doesn't make any sense. How could they pretend they didn't see Aleena in her original merhog form?" asked Jules. "Because I changed their memories and replaced the image of Aleena with a dolphin." Startled, everyone turned to see Arthur appearing in front of them. "Wait a minute...Arthur...?" Aleena said as she recognized the male mongoose. Arthur bowed to Aleena and said. "At your service my princess." Aleena was right when she recognized the male mongoose. "I was right! I knew you looked familiar at the beach! It also explains why Suzie was trying to distracts us from going near you!" said Aleena. "I told Suzie not to have my cover blown. That's why." Arthur told the princess. "Your cover?" asked Aleena. "It was your father who sent me here secretly. He got word that Stella has been stalking you, Jules and Charles for unknown reasons." Arthur told Aleena. "Who's Stella?" Jules asked Arthur. "The Sea Witch?...That's my mother's evil twin sister!" shouted Aleena.
"Your mother's evil twin? She's your aunt?" asked Charles. "Unfortunately. A relative I never wanted to talk about." Aleena said sadly. "Already having in-laws who have something against us." said Jules. "But who exactly are you?" Charles asked the male mongoose. Arthur showed them his official military badge. "I'm Arthur. King Leonardo's most trusted high ranking commanding officers. I guard the royal family and the kingdom of Atlantica." said Arthur. "You're a soldier with authority in your king's army. We also saw you earlier with Isabella at the beach earlier." said Jules. "That is none of your concern." said Arthur. Jules soon remembered something that he was supposed give Aleena. "I almost forgot about something." said Jules.
Jules was stopped by Aleena. "Arthur, you may be a commanding officer in my father's military force, but Jules is now part of the royal family you serve, chosen by my father's own power to be my suitor. Please don't speak to my lover if he's a mere civilian with no rank." Aleena told Arthur. "I already know that, Princess." Arthur said to Aleena. Arthur said to Jules "Excuse my rudeness, please. I'm still adjusting to you being my princess chosen betrothed. It was unexpected news when we learned about you." said Arthur. "Try not to blink." said Jules. "What?" asked Arthur. Jules suddenly appeared behind Arthur who didn't see when he moved. "There's more to me than you and your people know. There's a lot about my brother and I that we never told our former pirate crew. Don't be quick to underestimate either me or my brother." Jules told Arthur.
