However that sweet moment between the pirate and the merhog princess didn't last long until Amadeus came back "Jules, did you take care of the fish—" Amadeus saw Jules with the Merhog princess he found that was caught in the net with the fish. "Jules! You found a Merhog!? I thought they were just a legend!" Amadeus shouted in complete shock. "No one else knows she's here! I'm going to send her back." Jules said to Amadeus. "Are you crazy!? She's treasure! The captain must be informed!" Amadeus said as he turned to leave. But Jules quickly knocked him unconscious.
Aleena feels pain from her injury as she grunts in pain. "I-I suggest you try to focus on my wound first...before sending me back home..." Aleena said to Jules in a weak tone. "We have very little time and if he wakes and finds you, he's going to realize that I attacked him to protect you from having the captain and others find out that you're here. The captain won't let you leave and will keep you as his greatest trophy. You have to leave, now!" Jules shouted to Aleena who had a small tear running down her cheek as she looked at the ocean before looking at Jules. "I hope I see you again, Jules..." Aleena said to Jules in a saddened tone before she dived back into the ocean.
Jules sighed sadly, but knew that she couldn't stay. A white glow soon caught his attention. He looked at his feet and found that it was golden pendant which what looked like a royal seal embedded in it. He reached for it, but as soon as he touched it, it vanished into his hand. "There you are little brother, I was just looking for you— Jules, are you alright?" said a male light blue hedgehog with a mustache named Sir Charles who had a concerned look on his face. Jules didn't reply, he remained frozen. The pendant's power running through his being, as it was merging with him. Aleena, while swimming, suddenly felt a new sensation and connection she never experienced in her entire life. It made her feel so alive, energized and overjoyed. "I've never felt so alive in my entire life!" Aleena said to herself while swimming towards what appears to be a kingdom with a bunch of different merfolk.
At the castle:
"Aleena, I warned you about the surface dwellers and pirates!" shouted a male light green merhog named Leonardo who is the Sea King and Princess Aleena's father. "It was a pirate who saved me and prevented me from being captured, father!" Aleena explained to her father King Leonardo. "Young lady you need to...wait! Where's your pendant!?"Aleena looked and realized it was missing. "Oh no... it's gone!" Aleena cried in shock. "You didn't lose it. It detached itself from you!" Leonardo said to Aleena. "What do you mean?" Aleena asked her father. "Tell me, did you experience an extraordinary sensation earlier today, feeling a connection you never had before while feeling overjoyed and energized?" The Sea King asked the young princess.
"How did you know!?" cried Aleena. "That feeling was a connection that pendant created between you and that pirate who saved you. It chose and found him worthy of that bond with you and its approval of having royal ties to our kingdom. And..." King Leonardo said as he was explaining to his youngest daughter. "And what father?" Aleena asked King Leonardo. "...He's now your royal suitor!" King Leonardo said as he soon finished explaining to his daughter however Aleena gets sad all of a sudden. "I just met him today and I don't think I'll ever see him again!"Aleena said in a sad voice as she soon swam off to her room. "She doesn't yet fully understand the full implications of what happened today. She will see him again much sooner than she thinks. They will find each other again. That pendant will always make sure they stay connected, no matter how far apart they are." The Sea King said to himself.
