The Next Day...

Aleena was swimming happily with her pet seal following her, with that being said the princess soon started singing. Aleena's pet seal was carrying her pouch that was filled with rare precious gems and pearls that would be worth a fortune in the surface world. Though it was merely a small amount, but more than enough to change Jules' and Charles' lives. "Even though it's a small amount it should be more than enough to change Jules' and his older brother's lives." Aleena said to her pet seal while they were swimming.

Back on the ship...

Isabella and Amadeus saw that Jules was inordinately happy while doing his work, despite being made to do the lowest tasks. "Why is he so happy?" Isabella asked Amadeus. "Wouldn't you be if you survived drowning?" Amadeus asked Isabella. "That's not what I mean." Isabella said to Amadeus. "I have a feeling it has something to do with a specific purple merhog." Amadeus said with a sly fox smirk on his face. "Oh?" Isabella said. "Amadeus, I literally told you to keep it a secret from anyone else yesterday!" Jules shouted at Amadeus who literally heard him. "I can't help myself!" Amadeus shouted back at Jules.

"You will! Speak again about that topic and I'll drown you myself!" Jules shouted at Amadeus. 'When I get my new ships, I'm definitely Not bringing Amadeus with me. He can't be trusted to stay quiet with secrets and that's dangerous.' Jules said as he thought to himself. "Amadeus, your body won't be found if you talk again about it!" Charles said to the fox. "Fine, I'll shut up." Amadeus said to both Charles and Jules. "Wait is this what all of this was about, Jules? I'm just asking and I'm not going to tell the captain about your Merhog friend and I can keep a secret unlike Amadeus over here." Isabella said to Jules while she was pointing at Amadeus. "Hey! The only time Jules didn't keep a secret was when he told everyone that I was the one writing those notes to Rosemary!" Amadeus said as he shouted at Jules.

"That was no secret! Rosemary knew it was you the whole time and she told everyone about it. It was the other crew members who told us what they knew when you overheard the conversation. She did that to embarrass you and make it look like it was Jules who ratted you out." Charles said when he soon bursted into laughter. "Rosemary!" Amadeus shouted at the vixen nearby in embarrassment while he was blushing. "Sorry, but I already knew it was you because your handwriting gave it away and you also wrote your name on it." Rosemary said to Amadeus with a sweet smile on her face and chuckled a little bit. Jules left and to go about his business. Isabella wanted to question Jules about the merhog but knew Jules would quickly end that conversation. Ever since the storm incident, she and others saw changes to Jules' optimism, as nothing the captain had him do mattered to him anymore.

Later that night Aleena and her pet seal Suzie swam up to the surface and noticed that everyone on the ship called it a night. "Alright, Suzie, the coast is clear." Aleena said to her pet seal. Jules sensed that Aleena was close by. Seeing how most of the crew were asleep, Jules removed and hid his clothes and boots before secretly jumping into the ocean. Before Aleena could contact him telepathically, Jules suddenly appeared in front of her. "Missed me?" Jules teased. "Yeah...Oh by the way I forgot introduce you to my pet seal Suzie." Aleena said as Suzie swam over carrying Aleena's pouch that was filled with rare precious gems and pearls and gave the pouch to Aleena.

"My royal gift to you my betrothed, with my father's approval." Aleena handed him the pouch, which was a considerable size. When Jules opened it to examine the precious valuables, he was shocked to see that they were fist-sized rare gems and pearls not found on land. "This would be worth a fortune in the surface world even though it was merely a small amount but it is more than enough to change you and your older brother's lives." Aleena said to Jules. "No, Aleena. Meeting you changed my life. Meeting you led me to find a new and better purpose with my life. Meeting you gave me the opportunity to make a better version of myself. You were what was missing in my life." Aleena gave Jules a genuine smile as she moved to hug him and she soon started singing beautifully.
