*INSIDE A LARGE AND POSH OLD MANSION*

"Boss," The large man calls from the door as he opens it ajar.

The man he speaks to remains seated on a brown-leather Lazy Boy couch with his back to the door.

"Mhh?" The man on the couch answers.

The man by the door, then makes his way inside, standing before his leader.

"It is concerning the mole, boss... I- I don't think we shoulda just let him go like that! The other guys are talking-" The man speaks, using his hands.

"Let em talk." His boss cuts him off.

"We can't afford any distractions right now. This is only the beginning." The man in the chair says.

"But, Boss, I-," The man standing tries to argue his point but cuts himself off, looking down at the man in the chair.

"I- ...Ight." The man standing, then leaves, closing the door behind him.

*BACK TO HERAH'S APARTMENT*

My eyes flicker open once again.

Ugh.

Unsure of how many times now, I notice the sun start to rise and peer into my house.

Today's the day that I'll see my family again after...waking up.

I groan, curling up under my covers.

I don't want to. Maybe I shouldn't go. If not for my dad...I mean, of course I miss him a lot...

At that, I am up and in the shower, getting changed. After grabbing everything, I leave my house, embracing the cool morning air that I know contains all of my fears deep within it...

Ah, there it is...my paranoia demon that makes me feel like someone...or everyone's eyes are glued onto me and every move I am making... Great.

I smile at them all.

"Just one sec guys... Herah!" I hear my name being called, making me turn my head, looking away from the many beautiful clouds.

"David. Mornin'." I say, greeting my pushy neighbour as I step down the short steps, continuing on past him.

Great... He let me go-

"So," David calls, his voice pitchy, as if he is fighting off his nerves.

Ugh! No...

"The other morning, you were..." He begins, starting a conversation.

...of course he won't let me go!!

"...in quite the humourous mood? Haha." He says, with his hands in his pockets, chuckling.

I laugh too.

Oh. That...

"Humorous! Yeah, something like that, yeah." I say, choosing to stick the conversation out a little.
