Herah and I have been aimlessly walking around in some mall. We decided to get something to eat, so we stopped here. I'm not sure what this place is even called, but I constantly pass it on my way around. I've been walking next to her so closely that our hands constantly touch. So, I then take ahold of her hand, studying how she reacts.

She looks at me, blushes and reassuringly squeezes my hand in return.

It was sunset, so much time had passed, I didn't even notice. I enjoy spending time with Herah. Her vibe would never decline, and I do not look for it to. I've never gotten so much good energy from one person continually... It has become my nature to keep my distance, but I also allow myself to have fun from a safe point and openly receive what she gives to me.

We hold hands and laugh together whilst we talk, making everyone around us stare. Some people smile, others whisper to each other and some wear the facial expression of offence.

Public indecency?

A girl even tries to bump into Herah, on purpose but she spots it and bumps her back. Herah then throws her hand up in a sarcastic rage of shock, and after the girl glares, in sync, we both turn back and flip her off. Never letting go of each other, still holding hands. We laugh loudly, down to the food court. I look at her by my side to get a glimpse of her smile.

We decide to take a back booth at McDonald's. We sit down next to each other like a couple.

I don't even mind that we aren't one...

Herah looks down at her hands and plays with her thumbs.

Is anything wrong?

"What's on your mind?" I ask her, slightly leaning down to hear.

"I don't know. I hate that feeling of reservation...with you..." She says, surprising me.

Oh...

"Elaborate." I challenge her.

Will she drop it? I hope not.

"Maybe I'm just afraid or just..." She stops and laughs.

In too deep now!

"Just?..." I ask her, wanting her to finish her sentence.

"Shy. Maybe I'm just shy, Jah." She says between laughter.

She...shy? Never.

"Which is weird. Why am I shy around you but never, around everyone else?" She adds.

Herah...you're full of surprises.
Shy? She's one of the most confident people I know.

Would she ever lie to me? At this point...I can't tell...

"I feel you, love." I tell her, not wanting to be dismissive at all, and the 'love' just slipping out naturally.

She gives me the cutest look ever. I stare at her eyelashes. She is so close and special to me.

"I feel that way too. I want to be close to you...as close as possible but... Easier said than done." I speak, hopefully distracting her from what I had just called her.
