"ON THE SEVENTEENTH OF OCTOBER, BE SURE TO SEE RAIN!" A loud voice calls out to Herah as she frowns, looking up to the sky.
Specific...
Everything is, then, dark. I look outside of the yard, spotting springs from an old bed laying about.
"Can I go get it and take it home with me?! I'm gonna go." Herah says.
What?? Why would she want to do that?!
"Nah..." I say, stopping her.
Why is she so distracted? Why doesn't she ever give me the attention and time of day?
Standing outside, we watch as someone, then, pulls it away.
"You think of the little girl who it previously belonged to before...?" Herah asks, randomly, wearing no expression.
Just then, it begins to rain.
I don't like this...
"Would you..." I begin to ask Herah, who seems so distracted, she might say no to my question.
"...marry me?" I finish.
Catching her off guard, Herah finally pays full attention to me, wearing a sad facial expression.
I read her thoughts; she feels the same way that I do. Though, she is sad that she has been so distracted, yet our hearts are yet to be fully one with each other.
"I..." Herah trails off, changing her facial expression to a look of boredom, as if she can't believe I'd even ask.
"What are you asking me?" She asks.
She loves me, I believe it...but... maybe she doesn't.
Why didn't she just say, yes?
Later, we walk through a shopping centre with the appearance of a haunted and abandoned building. The whole family and those people are with me. I have my black and white striped shirt and Adidas pants on, with my hands in my pockets.
I can't stop thinking of how Herah and I aren't on good terms right now. About what she did... All that she did. This is all because of time, I think. I don't even know why I am so heartbroken and mad at her.
I feel nothing as we all proceed on, down the dark and poorly lit corridor, passing a few stores. Many seem closed, even though they're not.
It is late and nighttime after all.
I find myself walking alone, behind everyone, after snapping out of my thoughts. I look up at Herah, who looks back at me as she walks on in the front of the group.
She looks like she's in great spirits. She's still watching me... Good, I will make sure she sees.
I then catch up to Britni, Herah's little sister, and gently bump into her, catching her attention. She looks up to me and frowns, clearly not enjoying this scary-looking place.
If I remember clearly, she protested on coming here.
I decide to cheer her up by pulling out the little black ring box that holds the ring I had gotten for Herah. I hold it up to Britni, not caring if Herah sees me or not, even tho it was all supposed to be a surprise for her.
