3rd POV
North Beacontown - BPD Department - Interrogation Room
Silence filled the bitter atmosphere between the vamp and the detective who was sitting behind the table from the opposite side of each other. Lukas was waiting for her to speak first but obviously she doesn't, little to no care about what happened last night. She didn't even dare to make eye contact, but rather stare at a blank space on the surface.
Finally, Lukas decide to break the ice, "At least you could've said 'hi' to me when you came back."
"You could've put me in cuffs Detective." Said Jessica sternly.
"That man was the one who stuffed bag of weeds in his pocket, and clearly you assaulted him out of self-defense when he tried to take you to his home."
"I wouldn't call it self-defense but why I did it is reasonable, of course you wouldn't understand."
"So it's reasonable for you to attempt murder?"
"It's not murder if you perform a surgery for a good cause!"
"Still, slicing off a person testicles or any body parts is a serious crime offense!"
"But I didn't because you stopped me! And I'm this close of taking a piece of what's delicate to him!"
"Isn't being sentenced up to a year or so not enough for you?"
"Ok, I didn't exactly wanna murder him because it's gross and bloody, so I figured he's gonna have to suffer by living with his scars that can't heal! Plus, it's satisfying seeing him all jumpy and paranoid when he felt like he was about to be-" She made a sign of a finger to her throat that made Lukas shook his head in disapproval.
"It's worse than death itself at least." The girl shrugged.
"That's what jail and prisons are for!" Said Lukas.
"Funny how you cops carry with tasers and guns around. And they're not for show."
"It's not like we have a choice!"
"Oh ho, we? By 'we' you mean you and your cop buddies. And me? Now that Jesse's gone, and I'm a grown woman, I can do whatever I want!" I said as I fiddled with my hair.
"Stealing some guy's bike, robbing a store, breaking out convicted drug dealers including Axel. These choices hurted two of my colleagues and some of the criminals who didn't escaped!"
"Ahhhh, it was really fun if you're asking me." She smiled.
"So you admitted that you did it."
"Smart guy, I mean why try to cover it up if somebody already knew and found enough evidence? That would be a waste of time for the both of us. I was really looking forward to meet my new cellmate..." She said while making a pouty face.
"So this is what you're doing right now? You're becoming a criminal?"
"Not all good girls grow up to be good." The woman shrugged.
"Do you even know the main reason why I'm letting you off? We both know the answer!"
"Scared to lose another Oswalt? It's really pathetic the fact you wanted my blood of your boyfriend to keep flowing so badly. Didn't think you'd be that obsessed!"
"I was really hoping you'd realize you've done something serious that could've put you in place you wouldn't even imagine!"
"At least tell them to make my bed in a cold cell, bed full of nails even."
"Are you even listening?! Ugh...What would Jesse say if he's here right now?"
"He would be very disappointed...in you, and so am I. Wanna know why? Just because he's dead doesn't mean anyone, not even you can take his place!"
