3rd POV

The Blaze Rods, including Jesse showed up at the promotion party in their outfits. Maya looked around, furrowing her brows as she was unimpressed how the place was decorated and most of the people's outfit they wore.

"Good thing I'M the only one who dresses better." Said Maya as she took out her compact mirror to speculate her reflection before going into the crowd.

Jesse noticed that Aiden rolled his eyes in annoyance, but he felt a tug on his arm to find her smiling at him, reminding him why she wanted to come. "You're right, I shouldn't be thinking about some random bitch who cares about being famous. We both need to have some REAL fun. Your first with the one and only, leader of the Blaze Rods~"

Aiden's expression beamed as he dragged his date to the dancefloor to join the others.

As they were out partying, Maya asked Gill to fetch her some punch, before went off looking for her "friend" through the crowd.

After a few moments of dancing and already, Aiden managed to hook up some female partygoers which give Jesse more time to separate from the crowd to find Maya and a pregnant woman who seems to be in her mid-to-late 20s having a conversation. She took a glass of punch and walk close enough to eavesdrop their conversation.

"I invited you because I wanted us to start over! I just hope we could be friends again after what happened...I've already forgive you...What more do you want from me?" Said the woman who Maya was talking to.

"I only came here to celebrate that I never have to see your plastic face again! I'd rather sleep with Tila Tequila than to be seen with a pregnant whore like you. It's so embarassing."

"I just want you to understand that things hasn't been easy for me since that night and-"

"Cut the bullshit Imani, I'm yawning and bored. Now if you excuse me, I'm quite thristy, it's tiring to talking to a press-on puta around here anyway." Just like that, Maya stormed off to look for guests to flirt with, leaving Imani devestated and heartbroken.

Maya clearly didn't want to hear her out and putting her in place in her own party rather than to forgive her. Her attitude disgusted Jesse as she thought,

Ugh, does she really have to be that bitchy like my ex?

She sighed as she joined Maya who was sipping her champenge, "You don't look happy." The two watched crowd chattering while the others either dance or have a drink. "I wanted to get back with my ex until she's moving out of city. What a loser...she could've told me first before inviting me! I'd probably move out of Aiden's apartment then."

"Come on, we're here to have fun! I mean, you showed up in your expensive top in a party hosted by someone you hate!"

"I still feel like something's missing...Like I'm not satisfied!"
