"Fucking bullshit! Rehab?!" Angrily shouted Aiden, pounding the table with his fists.

"They're better option than jail isn't it?" Said the detective, leaning back against his chair, didn't seem to react much at his old friend's usual behavior.

"I've already gone to rehab years ago Lukas! So why bother sentence me now without having it settled at the court this time?!"

The detective sighed, "I trust that your behavior and habit conditions would improve after you participated in rehab that you've been sentenced to. Guess old habits die hard."

Aiden scoffed as he shook his head at him, "Typical Lukas. You went from a teacher's pet to Johnny Law. This is exactly why I left you!"

"This is exactly what you said to me every time I'm trying to stop you from doing something crazy that's enough to put you in jail or worse!"

"So what if I was drunk last night? Will I get arrested for drunk-assault the police?" Asked Aiden sarcastically.

"You could get arrested for being her accomplice."

"I already told you! I don't fucking know what she did last night and I don't give a damn if someone died there! She was gonna have some fun with me but you just had to be here for what? Arrest her for prostitution?"

"I'm already aware you didn't know what her full intention was nor that she was able to pull a stunt like that."

Aiden lightly chuckled, "Well good for her!"

Lukas froze and leaned towards him to see he wasn't really joking nor being sarcastic, "What do you mean 'good for her!?' She could've gotten killed! Someone DIED there! Do you not hear everybody screaming or the gunshots!? Oh right, you were DRUNK!"

"See, that's the thing with her! Unlike your dead f*99*t fiancé, she could even pull a trigger while fucking an unlucky bastard she hooked up with! Don't even give a damn whether the cops shows up or not!"

"Not as long as I'm around! Covering her from what happened last night isn't gonna stop me from tracking her down."

"You think she's gonna listen to you? A Northsider cop who couldn't keep his own fiancé alive? Come to think of it, you and Jesse ruined her life! You thought I was joking when I said I feel bad for her?"

"Aiden...I understand wh-"

"You KNOW what I've gone through! There was only 4 of us! You, me, Maya, and Gill! Just us! But then Jesse, your boyfriend came along and you rarely even spoke to us since then! As if a gay Southsider like him matters more than us! And what you're gonna do? You're going after his sister too? She didn't seemed to be happy either! I bet she never even asked you to look after her considering she's a grown woman now! Heh...quite hot isn't she?"

Lukas abruptly slammed the table that startled Aiden to keep him quiet. However, he was grinning in silence, watching his old friend hang his head forward facing the table, regaining his cool who managed to smother all in.

Aiden then continued, assuming out the real reason why Lukas interrogate him, "That's just it. You couldn't stand that she trusts me more than she trust you, isn't it? Ahh it's no wonder why she chose to invite me over."

The detective sighed whether in dejection or defeat, not wanting to admit what he said is true. Sure he knew his friend was a jerk, and it was useless to convince him that he's still cared about Jessica as well as Aiden since they're formerly both of his close friends in life.
