The Bun is Warm [Nightkiller]

It was a nice and cool afternoon and a certain couple were on the bed. Nightmare rested his head on top of Killer's lap and Killer used his thumb to lightly brush Nightmare's cheekbones before smiling. The purple skeleton opened his eyes and stared at his precious partner, a purple hue was visible on both of his cheekbones, and a light red hue for the smaller skeleton.

This moment was rare for the two, It wasn't normally quiet and neither was free time available, but the two used the opportunity to fill the affection needing hole. The two were currently on the bed, just relaxing. Nightmare had finished reading and signing documents while Killer was one-week pregnant with Nightmare's child.

And you see...Nightmare didn't know that.

Killer was scared to tell Nightmare about this and he ended up being quiet about it. He didn't know how Nightmare would react, it could lead to drama or such incidents for all God knows, but Killer still knew that he had to tell Nightmare about this. Killer's cheery and happy aura slowly morphed into fear thinking about it, and then his smile started to deteriorate. Nightmare noticed the change in Killer's aura and his expression and stopped smiling, getting concerned for his lover.

Nightmare closed his eyes and asked gently "What's wrong Love? I can sense your aura you know.". Killer sighed, Nightmare opened the can of worms...

He places his hands on Nightmare's temple and began to massage them, hoping that this may prepare Nightmare for what he was gonna say next...

Nightmare slowly smiled, feeling even more relaxed. "Um...you might not take this too well Night..." Killer said, Nightmare still kept his expression he held and gently took one of Killer's hands and pulled It close to his none existent lips. He kissed It and opened his eyes "Don't worry unless you're leaving me, I can take It." He said in a calm tone. Killer blushed and sighed, Nightmare waited for what Killer was gonna say next but only got silence.

...

"C-can you give me your hand?" Killer asked nervously, Nightmare was confused but did as his lover requested. Killer gently held his hand and placed It on his womb, patting Nightmare's hand gently. "The bun is warm in the oven..." Killer muttered before looking away, scared of what Nightmare's reaction would be.

Nightmare's eyes widened in shock and quickly got up to face Killer. "What..?" Nightmare asked in disbelief, almost laughing in the end. He clearly wasn't sure if Killer was being serious.

...But he was.

Killer pulled his arms out to defend himself from the upcoming danger that he had expected but this...

...It only concerned Nightmare.

Killer waited for the act of hatred from Nightmare but only got a gentle and love-packed hug from him. Killer opened his eyes from the act, he was clearly surprised that Nightmare didn't hit him or something. Nightmare then asked out of curiosity "Why didn't you tell me sooner?". Killer was silent, he had no words that he could say and he only hugged back.

"I-i thought, you'd...hate me." He explained as tears started falling from his eye sockets. Nightmare chuckled and pulled back from the hug. "And why would I do that?" Nightmare asked. Killer looked at Nightmare and didn't utter a word. He was a bit disappointed by this, but said reassuringly "Love, I'm the Father. Why would I hate you for carrying my child? I'm the one who should worry if you don't want the child.". Nightmare placed his hand on Killer's cheek and kissed his forehead.

Killer kissed Nightmare on the none existant lips and Nightmare smiled into the kiss. The kiss was full of passion and emotion and it lasted for a good minute before the two parted.

Nightmare smiled happily at his lover and Killer shared the same sweet smile before saying "This is why I love you...".

Nightmare laughed softly before replying "I can't count all the reasons why I'm fucking obsessed with you.". His partner smiled and the two kissed again. Nightmare always had a way to make something more exaggerated than it need to be.
