No one's POV

Clint Barton was tied down as the others surrounded him. Nick Fury looked at Y/n and gestured to her to go do her thing.

Y/n walked towards Clint and placed a hand on his chest. "Be free."

Her eyes glowed and she instantly severed the mind control that was binding him. Clint fell down on the floor, panting heavily and Natasha ran over and helped him up.

Clint looked up at her and slowly spoke. "Nat ?"

"Hey there. You're okay now." Clint looked around and saw all of the Avengers present there. But he also saw a new face, a little child.

"And who's this ?" He asked.

"This little pipsqueak's the one that freed you from the horned Norse gods mind control." Tony told him.

"I- what ?"

"He's telling the truth." He looked over and saw Bruce Banner, with handcuffs, standing there. "She stopped the Hulk, saved the people on the Hellicarrier when you almost brought it down, and freed you."

Clint couldn't believe what he was hearing. "And how exactly is it that this child can do that ?"

"We don't know. We've tried to find out but we got no clues. Even she doesn't know her own origin story. All we know, is that shes powerful and has a pure heart." Steve told him.

Thor wanted to mention how she picked up his hammer but refrained from doing so.

"The little one is very strong. I think we all know that by now. But that doesn't matter anymore. What does matter, is that we stop Loki."

"Listen Thor, as much as I agree with you, we have no idea where Loki could've gone." Tony said.

"New York." They all looked at Y/n, who simply stared at them. "He's in New York."

"And how would you know that ?" Bruce asked her.

"I can sense his life force." She casually revealed.

"His life for- how can yo...? I give up! Why do I even bother ?" Fury just slammed his hand on the wall and leaned against it. This action made her tilt her head in confusion.

"Why's he hurting himself ?" She didn't even seem concerned or bothered by Fury at all. She was just genuinely confused. That's all.

"Ignore him. All that matters now is that we stop Loki." Steve voiced out, gaining approval form many, but not Y/n.

"Why though ? Why can't we just let him do what he wants ?" She asked, nor understanding the whole point of this operation.

"Because, he's going to hurt people and destroy everything. And he has an army of aliens with him to do it. We have to stop him!" Y/n blinked obliviously a few times, not knowing why to even bother helping some random people she's never met before.

"But... Why would you want yl hurt people though ? If you have si much power, why hurt others ?" Y/n was too young to understand the concept of evil and tried to look at it from her own stand point. From her point of view, the strong should protect the weak or they should keep themselves away from them to keep them safe.

Natasha sighed. "Some people are just like that Y/n. There are good and bad people in this world. Some use their power to save people and others do it to hurt people."

Steve walked over to her and kneeled down, putting a hand on her shoulder. "She's right. Those with great power, should use their powers for good. Never for an evil purpose. Protect those who can't protect themselves. Don't ever be like them. Always aim to help others and make their lives better."
