_Smut Warning_
The day was finally over, and Xavier walked out of his last class of the day. Walking into the courtyard, he saw Ajax and Enid. He walked up, expecting to see Wednesday any minute now. "Xavier! Have you seen or heard from Wednesday?" He furrowed his eyebrows, now confused. "What do you mean?"
"Wednesday, no one has seen her since the first class of the day."
Just like that, anxiety and adrenaline took over his whole being.
Without hearing another word, he turned around and walked up to Ophelias Hall; where Enid's and Wednesdays' room was. Opening the door, no one was present. He looked on the balcony and saw no sign of his black-haired raven.
His? He shook his head, pushed the thought aside.
"Thing?"
No sign of him, either.
He walked out of the bedroom. Not paying attention to where he was going, he bumped into a girl. "Sorry," He mumbled and kept walking. "Xavier!"
He turned around, realizing he just ran into Christina, the one who pissed Wednesday off this morning for some reason.
"Oh, Hey, Chrstina, I'm sorry about the plans but I have to cancel, my friend is missing, I have to find her." He started walking away without waiting for a response.
"The goth looking bitch?"
He stopped in his tracks and sucked in a breath, anger mixing in with all of his other emotions right now. "She may be outspoken, but she's not wrong." He kept walking and heard a gasp and stomps getting fainter.
He took his phone out of his pocket and clicked on her contact's name, no answer. He then called his old job, asking the workers if they have seen Wednesday. They all said no. He huffed in frustration.
He started towards his shack to grab his knife before he went on a hunt through the woods. There are always people or things out for her. This is why he spent his summer doing the things he did. He busted through his shack, going towards his draw but he heard a sigh behind him.
He stopped, startled. He slowly turned around and sighed, a sigh of relief, of annoyance, etcetera.
All that anxiety for nothing, thank you Wednesday.
The side of the bed sank down as he sat beside her. He texted Enid and let her know she was fine.
She looked so delicate and beautiful. No scowl on her features, no frown. He noticed her hugging something, he looked closer and if exploding heart syndrome was an actual medical problem, this would set it off. She was snuggled up to his sweatshirt, which made her look even more adorable.
He could adore her forever.
He has never loved anyone or anything as much as he loves the girl that lies in front of him right now.
Her eyes fluttered open, and she sat up fast, looking around, then finally at him. He waited for her to say something. Maybe explain what she's doing here.
"Don't you have a date with a absent minded bloodsucking blonde bimbo? Were you planning on bringing her back here to your bed? I'll go."
He could barely wrap his head around this. She was just sleeping, looking like an angel and now she is awake and acting like a demon.
"What is your problem with her?"
Wednesday threw his sweatshirt back on the table and glared at him. "I don't know, maybe it was just annoying trying to pay attention to one of my least hated subjects while not being able to because she was giggling and rubbing your body down the entire fucking time."
