"All right girl, you can go home," the nurse said after removing the needle and the IV.

"Please take care of yourself, I don't want to see you here again" the doctor said smiling.

"Thank you so much Doctor Harrison" I shook my hand and he received it graciously.
After five days in hospital I could finally get out of here, my head was still hurting but I felt good to get back to my life, in fact I had called Zak to tell him that I would be going back to work today but to please keep it a secret, I should be the one to explain to the press why I had been away for the last few months. Obviously Zak did not agree that I should return to the track so quickly but I insisted, I believe that to start a clean life of drugs I must have my mind and my energy occupied in other things and I also miss my job and my team. After several minutes of trying to convince my boss, I now had to convince the girls who were talking to the doctor outside the room while Carmen helped me put my clothes and other things in my bag.
We left the hospital and went to the hotel where I was staying, we were in my room and the girls froze when they saw the mess, clothes everywhere, drugs on the small table, bottles of tequila, my underwear and also condoms. I had completely forgotten how I had left my room.

"God girl, you can't stay here" Isa said looking around. I couldn't even look at her out of embarrassment.

"You're coming with me to my house" Kelly commanded staring into my eyes as if I had no choice. I ducked my head in shame for everything my friends had to go through because of me, I was so selfish and didn't think about the damage I could cause. The three girls started to pick up all the stuff from the floor while I was packing my suitcase. Among the things I found the seashell that Lando had given me that day on the beach.

"What is this?" I asked grabbing the small pink stone.

"You will carry this with you" he said wrapping his hands in mine "And when you see it you will know that I will be with you protect you" he gave me the sweetest smile his lips could express.

A tear fell down my cheek remembering that beautiful night, at what point did it all go to shit? All this time I tried to understand why he did that, maybe I misinterpreted his actions and he wasn't in love with me. But how he can give me the most beautiful gift as if he cares about me and the next day fuck another girl. I guess I'll never know, maybe I was a fool, maybe he just played me and I was the stupid one who believed all his lies. I quickly wiped my tears away as Kelly told me it was time to go, I put the stone in my pocket and then we left the room.

"I have a good idea for today" Isa spoke in the back seat of Kelly's van "How about a spa day?" she said excitedly.

"Yeah, I love that idea," the female driver said, looking at Isa in the rearview mirror.

"Yeah, no boys and no crazy parties" Carmen spoke next to the blonde and they all agreed. I smiled nervously because I had to tell them I was going to the circuit.

"Emm girls" I was so nervous, it was worse than at school when I told my dad that I liked a boy in my class "I don't want to ruin your plans but..." I paused and they all looked at me "I'll go to the track, I talked to Zak and I'll go back to work" I said in one breath and immediately scratched my ear and looked out of the window to anywhere. I could feel Kelly's killing stare on the back of my neck, if it was up to her she would have me locked in her room sometimes she is very over protective.

"Lea.." Kelly sighed and I turned to look at her slowly "You know I don't like the idea, but if you feel you are ready to do it then do it" she spoke looking down the road "But please don't let anyone pull you down, it's not your fault everything that happened" she placed her hand in mine "But I love you and I will always be there for you" she looked at me smiling. I felt the tears build up in my eyes again.
