I opened my eyes as soon as the alarm on my phone started to go off, I turned it off quickly before Leana could hear it, there was no way she was going to wake up now otherwise it would ruin the surprise. I crept out of bed moving as little as possible, I tiptoed a few steps and suddenly she mumbled something, I couldn't hear well but it was something about her liking ice cream. I shook my head graciously and went to the bathroom to call Kelly.
"Hey, good morning. Is everything ready?" I asked quietly.
"Good morning, there's a little problem with the drink, they brought champagne instead of wine" Kelly sounded stressed.
"What?! Leana doesn't like champagne! What are we going to do now?" I asked as I brushed my teeth.
"Calm down, I'll work it out. Now tell me, she doesn't suspect anything right?" She asked, I rolled my eyes at her distrust.
"Of course not, I didn't even bring it up. Did you talk to the girls?" I asked, wiping my mouth.
"Yes, they all arrived last night. Now I have to finish a few details with the decorations" she said.
"Let me know if you need anything, thank you so much for helping me" I said, she was a big help on this.
"Are you kidding me? She's my friend" she complained and we both laughed.
"I know, see you later" I said goodbye to her and hung up the call.
I'm organising a surprise birthday party for Leana and of course I couldn't do it alone so I asked Kelly to help me and she happily agreed. The plan was to make her think I had forgotten her birthday and then surprise her with the party, but that wasn't the only surprise I had for her. I changed my clothes, I approached Leana to kiss her forehead, she is completely asleep, I took my phone out of my pocket and took a picture, I want to keep these little moments forever.

I left the hotel and went straight to pick up the outfit I bought for her to wear tonight, of course Kelly will take care of giving it to her. This has to go perfectly. I checked on my phone that everything was ready, food ready, outfit ready, gift ready, invitations ready. Wait, Mick. I didn't think of him but I can't invite him because otherwise Luisa will be there and I don't want her to ruin my girlfriend's birthday. What should I do? Lando thinks of a solution. I took my phone and dialed Carlos's number, maybe he could give me some solution.
"Hi mate, I have a problem" I said as soon as he took my call.
"What's up mate?" he asked.
"It's about Mick, I don't know if I should invite him, you know Luisa" I said remembering everything that happened.
"I think you should call him, he's Leana's friend and she probably wants his friend to be at the party" Carlos explained.
"Yeah, I know but he's dating my ex girlfriend" my throat got stuck as I said that.
