We landed in Hungary for the last Grand Prix before the summer break, the last few weeks were excellent in terms of work and my relationship with Lando. He couldn't win at the Redbull Ring but got P2 alongside Max who won the race and Daniel in P3, but then in France he was back on top of the podium after an incredible race from all the drivers. The week in France wasn't as good as I thought it would be, a few days before the weekend we went to a restaurant with the whole team and I got food poisoning, I felt so bad they had to take me to hospital but luckily I was able to recover within a few days, I still missed FP and qualifying but I was able to get back in time for race day. Lando was very worried about me because he had also had food poisoning before but I wasn't as bad as he was, but of course he looked after me all those days. I felt sad and guilty because we wanted to take advantage of the week to do romantic things in Paris and enjoy that beautiful country. Lando promised me that we would come back someday but this time we would not go to that restaurant, he really got angry with the staff.

"What are your plans for this weekend?" Kelly asked looking at the menu.

"I don't think any, I'm now keeping up with Lando who is mega focused on the race" I said playing along with Penelope. Kelly and I are the only ones who could come to Hungary, the other girls had obligations to attend to in different parts of Europe.

"What? It's your birthday this Sunday, I'm sure you have something planned" she smashed the menu on the table.

"I know, but everyone is busy, the girls aren't even here and I don't want to bother Lando with my birthday problems," I laughed, not caring. I haven't celebrated my birthday in years and I can go another year without it.

"So, what do you say to a dinner just for us?" She proposed and the little girl on my lap raised her arms in celebration of her mum's plan. "Oh you want to go too?" Kelly asked her daughter, she let out a squeal and we both laughed.

"Sounds good, but only a dinner" I warned, I know how she is.

Our lunch arrived and we enjoyed it quietly, Max and Lando were busy with other matters and we didn't want to intrude on their plans to share the podium again.
I went back to the hotel to start planning what we had to do with the other engineers, I don't know why Zak was more demanding these last few days, he wanted everything to be perfect and we definitely had to do it.
I was looking in my suitcase for my uniform to have it ready for the next day, my mood was not the best because my mind couldn't stop thinking about my parents, they always prepared a few days before my birthday party, they prepared the banquet even if it was only the three of us, but my heart can't avoid feeling sadness when remembering all those beautiful moments that will never come back. I was sitting on my bed when my phone started ringing, I sighed and went straight to my bag to find out who it was, it was Charlotte.

"Hey boss" I said sitting back down on the bed.

"Hey Lea, guess what?!" She shouted excitedly "The GQ magazine article is out!" her voice stamped in my ears.

"What?! Are you serious?" I asked as I jumped out of bed. "I thought they had forgotten about it," I said completely sure that the article wasn't going to come out.

"I'll send you the link right away" she said but before I could thank her for letting me know the good news, she hung up the call.

I immediately received a link and I was so excited, what if it's horrible or I look bad in the pictures, I don't want to see it. I threw my mobile phone on the bed and walked to the bathroom, rinsing my face with cold water to calm my nerves when I heard someone walk in the front door. I went back to the main room and Lando was standing there still with his bag on his shoulders with the biggest smile on his face looking at his phone screen. I walked up to him and he looked at me smiling, then he stretched out his phone to show me the article with my pictures and the interview.
