Jungkook's hand that was rubbing Taehyung's side came to a halt when he heard what the younger had said.'Depression.', was not something Jungkook had imagined Taehyung's case to be.
But he wont step back now "For how long?", Jungkook asked.
"More than three years, I guess.", Taehyung replied as if it was a not so important issue.
"What?", Jungkook was taken aback by the response.
Being depressed was not something to take lightly and Taehyung says he is in it for more than three years, Jungkook can't imagine what the younger has gone through.
Jungkook sat silently when Taehyung begun "My parents were not there with me when I was young, they were busy working for providing me the luxuries I had since I was born. I will never say they don't love me, but they didn't give me the love a child would expect from their parents. Their way of showing love was materialistic and what I wanted was something emotional.
I started modeling since I was seven, which resulted to me being away from my parents even more, at the beginning mom used to accompany me for shoots then she assigned me assistants and nanny.
She forgot I was just seven. A seven year old would love to make new friends, go to park enjoy weekends with their parents. But all I did was going to strict christian school where students were too busy to make friends, then when I am outside the school I am supposed to attend shows and shoots.", Taehyung's cheeks were wet again with tears, occasional sobs leaving his parted lips, but he held onto Jungkook's hand and let it all out.
It was the first time he was venting in front of someone.
He is not sure if he will vent out before anyone else. Because he felt secure with Jungkook and just Jungkook.
Jungkook's eyes were glossy, he tried to imagine how Taehyung's childhood might have been. When Jungkook was seven he was at peak level happiness in his life. He had enjoyed his childhood to the fullest.
Now thinking back when someone is happy enjoying their life, someone else if forced to sacrifice theirs.
"My professional life was successful because I had nothing else to concentrate on, it was work eat sleep repeat.
I don't know why but one day Mrs. Choi forced me to a physiatrist three years back and well since then, I started my journey with antidepressants.
Nobody except Mrs. Choi knows about it and now you.", Taehyung shrugged gesturing Jungkook at the end.
Taehyung took another deep breath.
"Five months ago, mom and dad came to me with a marriage offer. Not a proposal it was an offer given by Mr. Kim Kwon. He would get a supermodel under his agency and as his husband, and in return my parents could fulfil their so called parental responsibility!
Mom called me today when I returned back home, apparently she had seen all the commotion and got to know about the divorce and everything. She was asking me to go back to Kwon.
I don't know why they want me to be with him. He doesn't even care if I'm dead or alive when I was at his place.
It's just a husband label, nothing else.", Taehyung continued with a bitter chuckle.
Jungkook pulled Taehyung into a full tight hug at that.
And Taehyung broke down he wailed once again.
"For some reason I hate it when I see you cry, but at the same time I want to let you cry so you don't keep it hidden inside you.", Jungkook said while slowly tapping on Taehyungs back to calm him down.
