Ignore the mistakes~

The past two weeks had been nothing short of chaotic for both Taehyung and Jungkook. Taehyung's schedule was packed with shoots and runways, each one demanding his full attention.

The spotlight adored him, and he delivered every time, but the long hours and constant travel were taking a toll. Jungkook, on the other hand, was immersed in a whirlwind of business dealings, attending back-to-back meetings and finalizing major deals for Jeon Enterprises. Despite their busy schedules, Jungkook made it a point not to disturb Taehyung, allowing him the space to focus on his career.

But that distance was starting to gnaw at Taehyung.

Seated in his dressing room after another exhausting shoot, Taehyung scrolled through his phone, his bottom lip jutting out ever so slightly. No new texts, no missed calls. He let out an exaggerated sigh, tossing the phone onto the table in front of him. Mrs. Choi, his secretary, caught the action and smirked from her spot by the door.

"You know, Taehyung-ssi, if you pout any harder, I might have to call maintenance to fix the floorboards," she teased, crossing her arms.

Taehyung shot her a look, his eyes narrowing. "I'm not pouting," he retorted, though the quiver in his tone betrayed him.

"Oh, of course not," Mrs. Choi replied, feigning innocence. She moved closer, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You're just... looking longingly at your phone every two minutes. Purely coincidental, right?"

Taehyung groaned, burying his face in his hands. "It's not like that. I'm just... busy. That's all."

"Busy missing someone, you mean?" she pressed, unable to resist the urge to tease further.

"Mrs. Choi!" Taehyung exclaimed, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink.

"Oh, don't 'Mrs. Choi' me. It's written all over your face," she said with a laugh, pulling up a chair beside him. "What's wrong? Jeon-ssi hasn't called you lately?"

Taehyung hesitated, biting the inside of his cheek. "He's busy. I get it. He's probably swamped with work. I shouldn't bother him."

"But you want to," Mrs. Choi pointed out gently.

Taehyung nodded slowly, his shoulders slumping. "It's been two weeks. I know he's giving me space, but... I miss him. And it's not like I can just call him out of nowhere and say, 'Hey, pay attention to me.'"

Mrs. Choi chuckled softly. "Why not? He's your boyfriend, isn't he? Isn't that part of the deal?"

Taehyung glanced at her, his lips twitching into a reluctant smile. "You make it sound so simple."

"Because it is, darling," she said, patting his shoulder. "He's a grown man. I'm sure he can handle a little interruption from his very charming and slightly grumpy boyfriend."

Taehyung huffed, the corners of his pout threatening to curve upward. "You think I'm grumpy?"

"Think?" Mrs. Choi raised a brow. "I know you are. Everyone around here knows it. Your mood has been terrible these past few days, and I'm pretty sure it's not because of the workload."

Taehyung rolled his eyes, though he couldn't deny her words. "Fine. Maybe I've been a little... off."

He groaned, throwing his head back dramatically. "I can't help it! How does he not miss me?"

Mrs. Choi's laughter grew louder. "Oh, sweetheart, he's likely missing you just as much, if not more. Men like him are great at focusing on priorities. He's giving you space to shine without distractions, that's what a thoughtful partner does."
