H-hello~
The photo shoot had ended, but the energy from the day lingered. Jungkook, unable to resist teasing Taehyung, swept him into his arms bridal style as they exited the set.
Jungkook adjusted his hold on Taehyung, effortlessly carrying him down the hallway toward his office cabin. "Kook!" Taehyung protested, his face turning an adorable shade of crimson. "Kook, put me down! People will stare!", his tone mixed with embarrassment and indignation.
"That's the point, love," Jungkook said with a laugh, his grip tightening slightly as he carried Taehyung through the bustling office. "Let them look. You deserve all the attention after that performance."
Taehyung buried his face in Jungkook's shoulder, groaning softly. "You're impossible. You know that, right?"
"I've been told," Jungkook quipped, his tone laced with mischief.
Taehyung lifted his head, his cheeks flushed a pretty pink. "I can walk, you know. You didn't have to do this."
"Oh, but I did," Jungkook countered with a grin. "You deserve a grand exit after that photoshoot. You were incredible, Tae. Like a true professional."
Taehyung couldn't help the small smile that tugged at his lips, though he turned his head away to hide it. "You're just saying that to make me stop complaining."
Jungkook stopped outside his office, leaning closer to Taehyung's ear. "I'm saying it because it's true. You took my breath away out there."
Taehyung muttered something incoherent, making Jungkook chuckle again as they reached his private cabin. Kicking the door open, Jungkook carried Taehyung inside and carefully set him down not on the couch, but on his desk.
"Kook seriously?" Taehyung whined, glancing down at the polished wood beneath him. "Your desk? What if someone walks in?"
"They won't," Jungkook said smugly, stepping between Taehyung's legs and placing his hands on either side of him. "And even if they do, I don't care."
Jungkook leaned in, his lips brushing over Taehyung's in a kiss that started soft but quickly deepened. Taehyung's hands found their way to Jungkook's chest, clutching the fabric of his shirt as his heart raced.
"Jungkook..." Taehyung whispered breathlessly when they finally pulled apart, his lips tingling.
"Hmm?" Jungkook's lips quirked into a playful smirk.
"Next time, let me walk," Taehyung muttered, earning another chuckle from Jungkook as he pressed a quick kiss to Taehyung's forehead.
Jungkook stepped back, his hands lingering on Taehyung's thighs before he turned and walked around the desk to his chair. Taehyung watched him curiously, still perched on the desk, his lips tingling from the kiss they'd just shared.
He opened a sleek, black cabinet behind his chair and pulled out a velvet box, his expression unreadable as he returned to Taehyung.
"What's that?" Taehyung asked, tilting his head, his eyes darting between Jungkook's face and the box in his hand.
Jungkook's lips curved into a small smile as he handed the box to Taehyung. "Open it."
"Is this... for me?", Taehyung hesitated, his fingers brushing over the soft velvet surface.
Jungkook nodded, leaning back against the desk beside Taehyung. "Go on, open it. I promise it won't bite."
With a nervous laugh, Taehyung slowly lifted the lid. Inside, nestled in black silk, was a stunning set of jewellery, the very same pieces he had modeled during the photoshoot. The intricate design shimmered under the light, catching Taehyung off guard. His fingers hovered over the pieces but didn't touch them.
