I Adore You (Swap Sans)

- Swap has special nicknames for his S/O
- If you feel bad about yourself in anyway, he's there to try and cheer you up. Be that with words or with actions.
- Small physical affection is one of the ways he enjoys telling you he cares, hand holding, pats on the back, even small hugs.
- He loves spending time with you, even if it's for work. You just being there is enough for him.
- Although he typically hides his emotions pretty well, around you he can't hide a thing

A few years ago, you fell down into the underground and began a journey that would change your life forever. At first, it was a fight for your life, but once you had won the favor of the monsters you realized that you were stuck there. Since you couldn't return home you were staying with the first monster you met, a dad-like monster named Asgore. He helped you when you injured yourself in the fall, and he offered his home without hesitation. Life down here with him and all your new friends was sweet and simple. During the day you'd help out around the underground and in the evenings you'd hang out with Asgore. Today, you were helping Sans train for his Royal Guard assessment. The short skeleton has been prepping for weeks and asked you to help him with his attacks. This was his chance to advance in the guard's ranks, and you were ecstatic to help out any way you could.

After waving goodbye to Asgore, you headed through the forest and towards Sans' secret training area. Distantly, you could hear the energetic skeleton already warming up his magic. The sound of Sans' blasters summoning and shooting was a sign that you weren't too far from the spot you were meeting him. It didn't take long for a blue and gray figure to manifest between the trees.

"Hey, Sans! Nice form!" You called out, setting down your travel bag on a tree stump and leaning against it. A smile crossed your face as you partially spooked Sans. It was rare for anything to surprise him and today you succeeded at just that.

He looked over at you, at first confused, before sporting his normal wide smile, "Hey, (Y/n). Howsitgoing? Are you ready to get started?" A warm embrace followed his question, a typical greeting when it came to Sans.

You chuckle slightly, hugging him back. "It's been good. I'm ready to go when you are. I don't know how well I can keep up, but I can try. You've improved quite a bit since our first fight." You give him a friendly punch on the shoulder as he pulls back from the hug.

Sans summons two bones in his hands, his eyes shining with confidence, "You kept up the first time, plus you've improved too. It's always a pleasure to spar with you." He winks at you, backing up to wait for your cue to start.

As soon as you were ready, you nodded and the battle began. Sans was quick to use his attacks to try and trap you, but you were even quicker to dodge. His attacks grew quicker and harder to avoid as time went on. Despite this, you were able to avoid getting hit. The end of battle came after a long and draining spar when you were trapped in a blue attack.

Since you were stuck, it was a great time to catch your breath. "You're gonna get that position for sure. Alphys would be crazy to say no if you fight like that." You give him a small smile as he removes his attack and comes to shake your hand.

"You gave me a run for my G with those moves. Have you been practicing?" He was also panting a bit from the running around. "Are you alright? You took a few falls there. You didn't get hurt did you?" His concern was evident in his voice and in his face. His usual smile faltered slightly as he grew worried you were injured.

Giving him a side hug, you laugh a little, "Is the magnificent Sans worried? Can't have that. I'm fine. Just got wet pants now. Plus, I recovered pretty fast, huh? I guess training with you has taught me a thing or two." You couldn't help but feel your heart grow warm as you made Sans smile and look away. Was he embarrassed?
