Tomorrow is a new day, it happens, every day. You wake up to a new day. Some of us wake up to a new day, the thing about life is, is not expected all the time, sometimes people dont get to luxury of experiencing a new day. After the longest shift of her life, Luna came home to a dark house, the door was unlocked and everything seemed in place, it was late in the day and all she wanted to do was take a bath, to unwind, the minute she steps further into her apartment is when she sees it or  rather him.

Taylor was sitting there waiting for her, trying to figure out what to say. Luna hadn't seen him in almost two years, that was two years of her life that she had, all of those memories and  people she found were stuck with her no matter where she went, in this life, the people who you surround yourself with are the biggest things that make you feel more alive. Luna hadn't felt this alive in her entire life and for everything she had been through she was still going to fight no matter how hard and how long it took her she was willing to risk it all and for what, for the simple fact that she had lived the best life she could and if she had to Die right now she would die happy.

The entirety of all of these events happens in a catastrophic loop in Luna's mind. Her dad died, her brother left, staying in Chicago, became a paramedic, training to be a firefighter, becoming a police sergeant meeting Athena all these events take place with one simple idea in mind...And maybe this was it was supposed to go, maybe this was her new beginning and she wasnt afraid of it at all but she was going to fight for whatever life she had left.

Taylor Hickson was going to take everything good from Luna and what better thing to take than the most important thing, the one thing that would ruin everyone else's lives that she loved than to take her own, if there was one thing he knew, that this was the last time, that he was going to make it to where no one could have her, not even him, and sure that meant he might have to die too but at least in the spirit world they would be together, because to him Luna Jennings was his soulmate and nothing or no one would change that.

Taylor smiles a Luna brandishing a knife. he makes her strip her clothes and begins raping her repeatedly and the two start fighting, Luna dodges a few of his hits before punching him a few times and swinging at him, he swings the knife slashing her arm, this goes on, blow for blow slice for a slice, and then she tackles him into her coffee table, and they were laying there on giant shards of glass and blood. Luna goes to pick herself up and falls back down, she drags her body over the shards trying to get herself to her phone so that she could call for help, Taylor was still squirming and groaning trying to get up from his spot and she didn't bother looking back just trying to move towards her phone which was on the floor near the door, she reaches it and slides up on the lock screen pressing emergency, she gets 911 dialed and hears an operator, all while Taylor is squirming around trying to get up trying to continue the fight.

"I need help. I am firefighter Jennings Badge number 246931...I need help since to my address." Taylor manages to get himself stood up as Luna reaches into the decorative bowl the gun that was there was gone, she starts crawling to the kitchen going through the cupboards and looking into bowls, she finds exactly what she needs and crawls towards the oven waiting for him to round the corner, waiting for him to come at her to giver her a reason. She could hear him struggling to walk his food sliding behind him on the floor. He rounds the corner and she stares at his gun aimed. "Send an ambulance." with that she squeezes the trigger just at the same time he does, one way or another, someone was going to live and someone was going to die, and while she prayed that it was her she wasnt scared of dying anymore. Death didn't scare her, she had lived  a full life and as soon as the bullet hit her flesh, she felt her eyes grow weak, her body slumps over, and all the pain she felt didn't matter in the silence and she had never been so peaceful in her entire life
