Rantaro and Silas have an adorable and over looked friendship dynamic, in my opinion. They really shine together in the Sparkling season where they're aged up and had more time to bond with each other.

Okay, I haven't given much explanation about this duo like I should have. When a family has twins or two plus kids, there's a running joke of 'one sibling always has to be gay/queer' and I unironically believe this to be fact. Hyuga's oblivious and wide eyed nature makes me believe he is very imaginative, eccentric and a dream chaser. On the flip side, I feel like Hikaru is very down to earth, rational and overall the opposite of his brother. Basically the polar opposite twin trope where ones goofy, unpredictable and straight while the other is organized, strategic and queer. It makes sense to me and the thought of it makes me smile, which is what matters when making a headcannon.

I feel like Shu was almost everybody's queer awakening. He was just THAT guy. I also feel like he knew about it but not? Like he noticed when someone got fidgety around him but never took into consideration that it could be because of a crush. Only when he was older did it finally click and he becomes flustered when Valt or the others mention it to which he quickly denies it.

Post top surgery fit. After beginning to tolerate Valt as a friend, they have a deep conversation about gender identity. Valt, being new to all things queer, listens to understand his new friend. Silas talks about one day saving up enough money to pay for top surgery in order to overcome his body dysmorphia surrounding his chest. When Valt hands him a fat check after Silas congratulated him on his championship win, he was frozen in shock. He pushed it back saying it wasn't his win therefore it belongs to Valt. Valt being silly Valt, stuck the check in Silas's binder saying 'I accomplished my dream, let me help you get yours.' Silas will always and forever say he didn't cry that day.

Silas and Rantaro are those two best friends that everyone thinks are 'secretly not so secretly' boyfriends because of how often their seen together and how gay they act around each other. In actuality, it's just Rantaro being comfortable with his sexuality and Silas feeling comfortable and safe to be himself around someone who understands him. To be fair though, they do act pretty gay.
