It was the day of the festival, I sat outside as I watched the sun rised causing the sky to turn a faint pink color. "Oh Eywa why did you choose me to fall for the forest boy," I asked looking right back at the water, "I asked the same question when I fell for Jake" I turned to see the fall feminine figure that stood in the doorway. "I'm sorry did I wake you" I mumbled looking back at Neytiri "No no I've been up for a little while now," She said as she sat next to me hanging her feet over the ledge. "Look I know it will be difficult being with my son but it was the same as me and Jake and now look at us," Neytiri said as she stared off into the distance. I  sighed thinking of all the moments I enjoyed with Neteyam teaching him how to open a clam, how to breathe and just hanging out with him. I loved him and I wouldn't trade him for the world "I just wished it was easier you know" I whispered as I leaned my head onto her shoulder "don't we all" she said as she wrapped an arm around my shoulder. We stayed like this as we talked about all our issues, "was it hard leaving your father and mother" I asked looking up at the tall woman "My father died when I was 18... but it was hard leaving my mother yes" she said with pain in her voice "I'm so sorry" I said as I hugged her lightly attempting to comfort her "It isn't your fault dear you were curious" She said looking down at me, Before long everyone was up except for Tuk. "Morning Ma' Teyam," I said as I waddled over to him my toes numb from being in the cold ocean. "Morning sweetheart," He said as he hugged me, his warmth comforting me.

                                                                                        -TIME SKIP-

"Y/N can you go get Tuk up," Jake said as he painted his wife's face "Alright," I said as I lightly jogged over to the small girl. "Tuk can you get up please," I said gently shaking the girl "No leave me alone" She grumbled "Tuk I'm not in the mood this morning get up please," I said as I ripped the blanket off her "no! I don't wanna" She whined as she pulled the blanket back over herself. "Ugh, whatever," I said, quickly standing up and moving away. "Y/N it'll be ok just breathe," Neteyam said as he sat next to me "Oh yea well why don't you just breathe huh if it's that easy," I said moving away from him "Y/N!" He called out as he followed me out of the house "Leave me alone" I said as I stormed off jumping into the water as Filën quickly came under me swooping away. 'I just can't today' I thought to myself, all the stress was finally kicking in and I was getting overwhelmed. I went to the little island on the outskirts of the reef. "Oh, Filën what am I gonna do," I said as I scratched his head, we stood in the water, and the waves became white noise something that calmed me, but soon I heard footsteps coming from behind me, "Y/N what's wrong" I turned to see no other than Neteyam standing behind me, "I thought I told you to leave me alone" I grumbled turning back to Filën as I continued playing with him "you did but your also my partner and I wanted to make sure you were ok," He said still standing behind me. "Well I'm fine so you can leave now" I was on my last nerve at this point "Y/N I'm not going anywhere you know that" He hummed as he started moving closer to me. I finally turned around to face him seeing he was moving to stand next to me, "I'm going to ask again what's wrong love" He grabbed my hand looking at me with a soft loving look "I just- I don't know" I said looking down at the water, Filën still by my side "The dream keeps coming back I haven't slept in a couple of days I can't eat and now the Tulkun are coming home I as stressed as ever" I mumbled trying to contain my emotions. It's been a rough couple of months ever since the Sullys came stuff has been off like a peace had been disturbed, but it's not their fault I'm probably just overreacting. "I know Y/N I  heard you and mum's talk this morning by the way you both laugh loud," He said causing me to let out a small giggle "There we go" Neteyam lightly bumped me with his hip when he saw my smile "yea we know" I chuckled. I turned to face him fully his hand still in mine "come here" I whispered.
