Rescue pt. 2

A full-blown war had broken out, death was everywhere I looked. I managed to fly Neytiri's ikran and I learned pretty fast "Hey anyone still there" I asked hoping to get a response "Hey love" I heard the same familiar voice, "Oh thank god Neteyam where are you?" I let out a shaky breath, I was shaking hard and I could barely speak "I'm about 3 clicks north of the ship why where are you" Neteyam said in a panic, he probably thought I was stranded "I'm actually on your mum's ikran right now so you know" I giggled as I looked around trying to spot the boy from up in the air "Oh shit really" I heard him chuckle "hey look up pretty boy" I finally spotted him near a rocky island he was all by himself "do you want me to drop you down" Neytiri asked, she was still on high alert "please" was all that managed to get out, we quickly dropped coming close to the water, I stood up as I quickly jumped off into the water, I heard Neteyam yell out and the feeling of water shift around me "hey Y/N" I heard him say as he held his arm out. He pulled me up onto his Ilu and we bolted off "where is everyone?" I tapped Neteyam's shoulder as we rode around "Lo'ak, Tuk and Tsireya got caught I heard it over the radio but I can't confrim it unless I see it but I can't see it without getting shot so I'm waiting so some signal or something" Neteyam responded still heavily focus on the task at hand "where are rotxo and the others?" I was hoping they weren't captured aswell "Um I havent heard from them" Neteyam muttered and thats when I froze "what do you mean like there has been nothing?" I was stressing again, my breath was heavy and my hands were shaky "hey I'm sure they're fine ok" Neteyam rubbed my thigh softly, the action managed to slow my heart down a little. I latched myself onto him digging my head into his shoulder I didnt want to be here anymore I just wanted to go home.

"Neteyam what's going on" I asked, we had posted outselfs this island, it looked familiar but I couldnt point it out. It was close to the ship "come on we have to go now" Neteyam hurriedly pulled me to my feet, hand in hand we walked over his ilu. "Are we going to go get them" I asked refering to the little group on the ship "Yea we have to hurry though i dont know how long we have" We sped off, we swam through the water at full speed and eventually we made it both jumping onto the ship "Neteyam!" Tuk yelled with a big smile on her face "Shh Tuk we have to be quite ok" Neteyam hushed the girl as he cut the handcuffs off her "hey reya" I said as I untied her aswell. I engolfed her in a big hug before Neteyam spoke up "Tsireya get them out of here safely please" Neteyam whispered "no! I'm staying with you" I whispered yelled "no Y/N I need you safe" He said standing up to face me "No I'm not leaving you again" I slapped his chest as I started getting upset "Y/N calm down please just listen to me" I heard Neteyam say calmly as he grabbed both my arms "No I'm staying with you I am not going" I pushed his arms away as I went over to Lo'ak to untie him "No Y/N please!" I ignored the boy as I kneeled down "Hey bro" Lo'ak said laughing "Hey Lo" I smiled as I cut the material instantly hugging him, I loved Lo'ak like a little brother he was family to me so I was so happy to have him in my arms safe it gave me a purpose to protect my family and thats what I was doing "Neteyam I am staying that is final" I looked at him with stern eyes standing my ground. "ugh Y/N why are you so stubbourn" Neteyam said I laughed at his whining "You love it now hurry up we have to go" I said "Wait we have to save spider" Lo'ak called out, he was holding a weapon I'm pretty sure it's called a gun "Who is spider?" I asked "remember that human boy I talked about from back home" Lo'ak said as he continued pacing around "Him what no we- we cant go back for him right now Lo'ak" I said as I held Neteyam's hand "come on guys Neteyam you know he would do the same for us" Lo'ak turned his head back to the big enterance "Ugh fine Y/N you stay right next to me at all times got it" Neteyam said looking directly at me "well yes sir" I said with sass as we ran off into the ship.

We were crawling our way across the ship when we spotted a human boy dress as a Na'vi "hey is that him" I whispered looking back at Neteyam, he nodded. We waited for the to come close to us before attacking, I cut this guy in the face before I stabbed him through his stomach "Ngenga si sìltsan Eywa!" I screamed out as I tossed him with eywa, It was something I learned from my father it was like swearing in Na'vi, I turned around to see there was a gun pointed at me, he shot but it had just graised my skin leaving a small cut "Ouch that hurt you bastard!" I screeched as I pushed the guy over the railing. I heard gunshots come from behind me and when I looked I saw Lo'ak had shot someone "Holy shit lo'ak" I said in awe, patting the boy on the back "Hey come on let's get out of here" Neteyam said as he tapped me and Lo'ak's shoulder. We all dropped down to the next level but we quickly saw another dreamwalker "NA'VI!" He shouted holding his gun directly at me "Y/N OVER HERE!" I heard Lo'ak yell as he hid behind a wall "Give me that" Neteyam yanked the gun out of Lo'ak's hands as he started shooting "On my word 3! 2! 1! GO" Neteyam shouted I watched Lo'ak and the spider boy jump over the railing "Neteyam come on we have to go" I said tugging on his arm "Y/N GO NOW!" He yelled at me pointing his finger to the railing "NO NOT WITHOUT YOU" I yelled back right to his face. Neteyam looked into my eyes for a little before he gave in "we run on the count of three" I said as I grabbed onto Neteyam's hand. Neteyam continued shooting as I started counting "3!" I yelled out we started running to the railing Neteyam going first me second. I felt my body hit the water, it was cold and soothing "Fuck that was insane" I said after I resurfaced. I looked around the group seeing everyone celebrating and cheering "Hey where is Neteyam?" I asked as I looked around, I then heard his raspy voice come from behind me "I'm right here" I turned around to see him struggling to keep afloat and then I saw the pool of blood. "NETEYAM!" I screamed holding onto his body "He's shot help me!" I cried swiming over to the Ilu "Put him on Teli" Lo'ak yelled out as he helped me put Neteyam on the Ilu, I quickly got on behind Neteyam Lo'ak being infront. I grabbed Spider's hand "Hold on" I said, I made sure everyone was ready before giving Lo'ak a quick nod. 

We had made it to the island from before, Jake had met us there and he was helping us get Neteyam up "Watch his head!" Jake called out as we laid Neteyam down, I sat next to Lo'ak and Tsireya holding onto Neteyam's hand "Lo'ak put your hands on his wound put pressure on it now" Jake grabbed Lo'ak's hands on his wound, Neteyam had tears on his face "Oh Ma'teyam" I had tears falling from my eye's awell "Y/N it hurts" Neteyam gasped for air "I know Neteyam I know" I cried out squeezing the boy's hands harder. Then Neytiri arrived, she quickly sat next to Jake as she looked at her dying son "Dad I want to go home" Neteyam cried as he looked at his dad "I want to show Y/N the forest dad I promised" is that really what he was worried about now? "We will show her one day I promise but you have to stay strong" Jake whispered "His cummerband use that for pressure!" I said as I unclipped it, putting it on his chest "This is gonna hurt a little" I said as I tightened the band as tight as I can "Ahh fuck" Neteyam whined as he scrunched his nose up "I know I'm sorry" I said tighenng it more. "Y/N I love..." Neteyam's face went blank "Neteyam? no NO NETEYAM PLEASE" I screamed as I tapped his face gentely "NETEYAM PLEASE DONT GO" I screamed at him the tears wouldnt stop "Y/N he's gone" Lo'ak grabbed me as he held me back "No! He can be it's not his time" I sobbed into the younger boys chest, struggling to get out of his grip "Y/N please" Lo'ak said as he rubbed my back, I heard Neytiri's screams ontop of mine. "No Lo'ak you dont get it" I cried out as I looked at the boy with teary eye's "He can't die now" I whispered as I zoned out, everything went black I could still hear everyone and feel everything but I couldnt see or speak. I then saw Neteyam "Neteyam!" I screamed as I started running, he turned around and saw me "Y/N!" we both started running towards eachother eventually meeting eachother again. "Are you really gone" I said as I hugged him tight "I- I dont know Y/N I can still hear everyone and you but I'm with Eywa still" He said hugging me just as tight. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever before I was ripped out of my trance. I woke up to see the night sky and Tisreya crying "Ngh Reya where is everyone" I said as I sat up rubbing my sore eye's "Y/N! thank eywa you are awake" Tsireya yelled as she engulfed me in a big warm hug "Ah watch the wounds Tsireya" I said as I whinced in pain, I had multipule cuts along my body but nothing serious  "Oh shit sorry" she let go of my body allowing me to scope out my surroundings, we were still on the rock and Neteyam was still dead. "I was really hoping this was a bad dream" I sighed as I brushed hair out of his face "I'm so sorry Y/N" Reya said, I felt her eye's on me "It's not your fault I should've stopped them both or I should've just listened to Neteyam then maybe this would've had a diffrent outcome" I sighed as I looked at Neteyam's face, even after war and death he was still handsome "Y/N it isnt your fault" Tsireya muttered as she placed a hand on my shoulder "It is though reya and it always will be" I sighed looking back at her "He is dead because I couldn't save him" I was tearing up again, I picked up Neteyam as I hugged him. "I'm gonna miss you Tey" I said as I kissed his forehead, a single tear falling from my eye onto his forehead. I had failed Eywa had warned me about this and yet I still failed, I fail Lo'ak and the others, I faild the great mother and her wish to keep Neteyam alive, I failed myself and most of all I failed him I was never going to be the same again.

CRYING EVEN i KNOW I AM I'M SOBBING RN SO LIKE YK WILL NETEYAM COME BACK THO IS PROBABLY A BETTER QUESTION BC AS YOU KNOW I AM JUST FILLED WITH SUPRISES AND I ALSO HAVE LIKE ANOTHER 3 CHAPTERS PLANNED SOOOOOO EH MAYBE IDK YOU'LL HAVE TO KEEP READING
