(DistrictTopia after the awakening of SCP-9086-L)
By the end of the event, the entire city was enveloped by vegetation as if it's been abandoned for centuries, as if mother nature took back what was hers. The SCP Foundation sent MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") to investigate the destroyed city. After hours of wondering the labyrinth of over growth and plant life, they found SCP-9086-L. After an interview they concluded that the entity that referred to himself as "Reed", was a manifestation of nature itself.
Reed was a kind and empathetic individual who saw value in all life, you could easily believe he wouldn't hurt a fly. However you can easily make him mad by disturbing the natural environment, who commit heinous acts. While many assume that he's a pacifistic hippie, it's worth noting the large army he created.
Powers: -Plant Manipulation: Reed displays the ability to manipulate plant life within its vicinity. He can cause plants to grow rapidly, bend to his will, and even move autonomously. -Communication with Flora: Reed appears to communicate with plants through unknown means. He can understand their needs and engage in what appears to be rituals or ceremonies with surrounding flora. -Territorial Awareness: Reed possesses an acute sense of territoriality, particularly towards natural environments such as forests and wooded areas. He can manipulate vegetation to form barriers, ensnare opponents, or create distractions to evade capture. -Regeneration: Reed exhibits rapid regeneration abilities, allowing it to heal wounds sustained during confrontations or other interactions. This ability is attributed to his symbiotic relationship with plant life. -Enhanced Strength: Reed possesses enhanced physical strength, enabling him to uproot trees, manipulate heavy vegetation, and overpower adversaries when necessary. -Environmental Adaptation: Reed demonstrates a high level of adaptability to his environment, thriving in various natural habitats and climates. He can endure extreme temperatures, humidity levels, and other environmental conditions without adverse effects. -Emotional Influence: Reed has been observed to influence the emotions of nearby individuals, particularly those who display hostility towards nature. He can evoke feelings of calmness, awe, or reverence, leading to a pacifying effect on potential threats. -Limited Telepathy: Reed exhibits limited telepathic abilities, allowing him to establish a basic form of communication with sentient beings. While his telepathic range is limited, he can convey simple concepts and intentions to individuals within close proximity.
