Stellas POV

It's been almost 2 hours since we arrived at Med and we still haven't heard anything. 

I give up waiting so I get up and I go over to the desk "which room is Toby Severide in, and dont bullshit me that the doctor with get us when hes ready, he is my son, I want to be with him now, so you tell me where he is" I shout at the lady on the desk as security comes over followed by Dr Charles who heard my voice, he tells the security to stand down as he comes over to me.

"Stella, hey come through I'll take you to Toby" he gestures to the nurse It's okay, as I look at him and then at Kelly who immediately gets up and takes my hand as we both follow Dr Charles to a room. 

we look through the window to see his tiny body on a huge cot-bed with a bandage on his arm covering a cannula where they must have been pushing medication through. 

"hes resting at the minute, I got his files from Manning, and it appears hes been put on some pain Meds, with just a few cuts and bruises, It appears the impact of the car just sent him into shock which caused him to stop breathing but there doesn't seem to be any lasting damage" I listen to Dr charles but keep my eyes on Toby 

"can we go in to see him" I hear kelly say "Yeah, cuddles from the pair of you may be better than any medicine we can give him" Dr Charles says as I quickly open the door and head inside as I put my hand through the bars on the cot and hold his hand.

I feel Kelly next to me as he wraps an arm around me as we both look down at toby. 

I stroke tobys hand as I start to cry "he wouldn't be here now if i just stayed home" I say as kelly hugs me tighter "stop, dont beat yourself up, If anything its my fault, I left you, when I should have stayed I knew how upset you were, I shouldn't have reacted the way I did, I guess I was just angry that you were pushing me away, and i've missed you" I look at him confused

"you see me everyday how can you miss me" I ask him as he looks at me nervously 

"I miss you intimately, I miss feeling every inch of you, I miss becoming one with you, I miss that part of you, of us, and I get what your going though I do, and thats why I will wait forever and a day for you because there is no one else id rather do all of those things with" a part of me  relaxes as I hear him say that 

"so you don't miss the man you were before" I ask shyly as he shakes his head no 

"nope, not even a little bit, you do things to me no woman has ever done to me before, you made me feel things no woman has ever made me feel before, you Stella Kidd are all I need" I look into his eyes as he looks down at mine as I somehow fall in love over again. 

I let go of Toby's hand as I turn around to face Kelly as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him passionately as he wraps his arms round my waist pulling me closer to him. I stop kissing him as I look at him then place my head on his chest as he rests his head on top of mine as his arms wrap tightly around my shoulders. 

I hear a noise from behind me and turn around to see Toby awake making noises as he reaches his hands up at the toys hanging down on the musical mobile above his head and I smile at him as I put the bars to his cot down and pick him up. 

I hold him close to me as I wrap my arms round him "Im so sorry little man, Im so glad you are okay" I whisper to him as I kiss the side of his head "Im never ever going to complain about your crying ever again, you cry as much as you want, it lets us know your still alive, you gave me such a fright" I say as I sway with him and turn to Kelly who is looking at us with a smile on his face and I go over to him as he wraps his arms round both of us. 

"I love you both so much, and I'm so glad you are both okay" he whispers to us both as he kisses both of us.

...

a couple of hours later we were discharged from the hospital. Kelly got Casey to drop off a new car seat for Toby since his other was involved in a car accident, Kelly fitted it into his car as I placed Toby inside it.

we begin to head back to the apartment as I look at Kelly as he drives a smile creeps across my face as I admire all his features from his lips, to his jawline to his eyes. I lean my hand over as I stroke his hair and he quickly looks at me and smiles before his eyes return to the road with the smile still across his face "I can feel you looking at me" he says almost laughing 

"I can't help it, your face is good to look at" I reply as he places his hand on my leg and I lean over and kiss his cheek. 

once we arrive home, we take Toby out of the car and Kelly carries him up. once we were inside I started to make a bottle for Toby, as it was almost feeding time and he was getting a bit hungry by the sound of his cries. when it's done I pass it to kelly who places it at Tobys mouth as he starts to drink from it, me and Kelly take a seat on the couch as we look down at Toby who is falling asleep whilst drinking. 

once we think Toby has had enough Kelly places him in his chair where he continues to sleep. Kelly comes over and sits back next to me, I place my legs on him as he places his hands across my legs, and we both look at each other and smile.

"promise me you will tell me when you are struggling, so you dont let it build up again" Kelly says as I nod "I promise, I will never let it get that bad again" I respond as I play with the hair on the beck of Kelly's head.
