Casey pov:

Don and I were sitting in the entrance of the shop in each other's embrace.

It had recently gotten a lot more quiet in the shop. Just enough business to make a profit that can let Amy and I love comfortably without putting a strain on my health.

We hear the door open and looked over, Donnie was shocked.

"Aloplex?! The hell are you doing here?!" He asked in shock.

"... This is the only mutant friendly dress shop in this part of New York." The fox mutant said shyly.

"... Come on, let's get you a dress going." I smiled to her, unwrapping myself from my lover's grasp and picked up my sketchbook.

"... I just want something to put on to feel pretty again... I haven't worn a dress since I was mutated..." She tells me.

I urge her to come over to me and sit down with a smile.

She sat next to her and turned to a page I've previously drawn and thought she'd like, slightly coloring it for her.

"This is what I was thinking for you." I told her and showed her the page.

" I told her and showed her the page

"... It's... Perfect." She said.

"Well, do you want to pick out the materials?" I ask her.

"We can do that?!" She she exclaimed.

"Yeah. Follow me." I laugh out, leading her to the materials.

She picked out a lovely gray-blue color for her materials.

Then, I got to work.

I assumed that Donnie wanted to talk for a while, so I just took the materials up to my room to start the process of sewing.

Just a few minutes later, right after I cut out the pieces I needed and started sewing, Don came in. He placed a hand on my left shoulder.

"... Babe, are you... Mad... At me...?" He nervously asked me.

I stop sewing and instantly whipped my head around to look at him. He looked like he was on the verge of crying.

I instantly felt terrible, standing up and holding both of his hands.

"Love, please don't cry... I'm not angry, I just wanted you to be able to visit with your friend while I got started with her dress." I explain to him.

"But you always wait for me, I thought-..." He cut himself off as his tears overflowed.

I moved my hands to his cheeks and wiped his tears as I gently directed him to my bed. We both sat down, he started to sob and I started crying silently with him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry, Don." I apologize to him.

After a few minutes, we both calmed down and smiled with the other. Don forgave me, since I'm still learning about what to do and what not to do cause he's an over thinker.

*Ahem*

We look over to the doorway to Aloplex.

"Am I... Interrupting something?..." She asked.

Don and I smiled to each other, then let go of each other and I went back to work.

"No, we just needed a moment." Don smiled as he told her.

As I finished sewing the dress, Donnie laid his head on my thigh, sitting on the ground next to me, both of us happy as could be, even though we were just crying a moment ago.

When the dress was finished, I just took a moment to admire my boyfriend's charm.

I love him so much, I don't even want to think about where I'd be without him.

"Darling, I need to give Aloplex her dress." I told him softly and with a smile.

He stood up and kissed my neck, my face going bright red, with a smile on his face.

"Ok, my dear." He tells me, almost in a whisper, my face went even more red as he walked to the entrance.

I followed after I had calmed down a bit and could think as straight as I could, as a gay guy.

"Here you go. Go try it on." I told her as I handed it to her.

She gave me a nod and went into the changing room.

As she was changing, Donnie sat me in a chair and sat in my lap, being an absolute cuddle bug.

It was fucking adorable.

When Aloplex came out in her dress, she was smiling. I smiled back.

"I'm guessing you like it?" I ask her.

"Yes, I love it." She told me.

She took out her wallet.

"How much will it be?" She asked.

"Only 10 dollars, these dresses don't take much time or materials. It only took so long cause Don and I needed some time together." I explained her.

"Cause you're a workaholic." Donnie mumbled into my neck as he adjusted his position and started falling asleep.

She smiled at us and handed me a ten dollar bill.

"I wish I could pay much more, but my job I recently got does not pay very well." She told me. I smiled.

"Don't worry about it, we understand. I mean, you all just got "human" rights." I told her.

She bowed and walked out, leaving Don and I in the entrance.

A few minutes later, April walked in with Ari and Axel. She was holding Ari's hand, a smile on both of their faces.

"Casey, Donnie! Guess what!" She shouted, Don waking up a bit.

"You finally confessed?" Don asked, almost sounding grumpy.

"And now, Ari's finally my girlfriend!" She yelled, very excited.

"... I would be jealous of my twin... But I'm aroace, can't be jealous of something that you have no interest in." Axel said, referring too his sister being in a relationship.

"Didn't know you two are twins, you look a bit older than Ari." I tell him.

"Yeah, we get that a lot." Ari and Axel say in sync.

Amy comes out of her room as Don set his head down again.

"Hey Mama, hey Casey's friends I don't know, hey April, hey Don." She said.

Ari and Axel both looked at her, then me.

"Amy, these are my friends Ari and Axel. Guys, this is my little sister, Amira, or Amy." I introduced them.

After a few minutes of chilling out, it was closing time, but Don wasn't moving. He had fallen asleep.

Good thing these chairs are comfortable.

"Hey guys, can you all close up the shop?... I can't lift Donnie very well." I said with a bit of a sheepish chuckle in my voice.

They all agree, Amy helped them do everything correctly.

We just hung out for about an hour, then they went home, Ari and April holding each other the whole time, Donnie was asleep the whole time.

I only woke him up to eat dinner, then we went to my room and cuddled until we fell asleep.

It felt refreshing to be the big spoon for once.
