I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling, my mind racing a million miles a minute while my girlfriend, Ellie, lays next to me sleeping.
I've been tossing a turning in bed trying to get comfortable and to get my mind to shut up when I hear Ellie get up, I run facing her now as I watch her walk to the bathroom a few feet away from the bed and shut the door. I hear Ellie start to throw up I immediately shot out of bed and ran to the door of the bathroom "Ellie?! What happens I'm coming in!" I walk through the door and she's Ellie hovering over the toilet holding her hair back "holy shit what's wrong with you" I say running over to help her, I hold her hair back as she explains that she has no clue what the hell happens she just felt sick and threw up, "I'm sorry I know this shit is gross" she said wiping the throw up off her lips with her hand, "no no no don't apologize I'm fine I'm so sorry you're sick love" I say standing and helping her up "I'm fine I swear I just need to brush my teeth and get back in bed that's all"
After Ellie brushes her teeth with the toothbrush she has at my place, she gets back in bed while I put a cool wash rag on her forehead, "you feel like you have a fever, you're hella pale and throwing up, what the hells up with your body bro" "your telling me, maybe it was something I ate?" She says questioning herself "you saying I tried to poison you" I say slightly giggling at the end referencing to when I made dinner hours earlier "what no no it's not that!" She said looking concerned "I'm fucking with you darling, I don't know it may have just not sat right with your stomach?" I say also questioning myslef.
Laying back down in bed after we talked for a minute and El thought she could go without the rag, I lay my head on my pillow and watch Ellie close her eyes and scoot closer to me, wrapping her hand around the lower body while mine come up to cup her face, she opens her eyes to look at me "I'm gonna get you sick" "I really don't care" "whatever weirdo" she says leaning in giving me a quick kiss, snuggled into me I start to hear her light snores while I slowly drift to sleep.
