Today I woke up and felt an immediate rush of excitement and anxiety roll throughout my body, today is Ellie's birthday! I roll over exitedly and reach for Ellie when I see her, still fast asleep. I look over her shoulder at the alarm clock, 8:34AM sweet, just enough time for Ellie's gift to be wrapped. I found some cool stuff I thought she would like on patrol the last couple weeks, and some wrapping paper. I quickly but quietly get out of bed and rush to our shared small living room to find the present still hidden under the couch, thank god she didn't find them. I set the all on the table and look at them all lined up, A new comic that I was sure she didn't have in her collection, a drawing of all the planets JJ drew for her (he's around like 8 in this timeline) a new pin for her backpack, some new pens because I know hers are starting to run out, and a new Led Zeppelin cassette tape for her cassette player. I wrap them as best as I could as a person who has no wrapping skills at all. And set them up on the dining room table with the hand made card I made her It said
Dear Els HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE, I'm so glad and happy that I get to have you as my wife, to always have you by my side and be able to stick up for eachother. I love you so so so so so much you couldn't believe it. Happy birthday my girl

I wake up to y/n not being next to me when I reach out for her, weird. I sit up and walk over to the dinning table to find an array of gifts, with a card. The card says

Ugh I love this woman. I hear the bathroom door open and I turn around quickly to see the most angelic woman standing right in front of me, my y/n. "Hey El" She Said walking up to me "hey pretty mama" I say I'm return. "I see you've found the card and your gifts" she says "yeah,holy shit" I say looking her up and down, she's wearing a beautiful white sundress with small pink flowers littering it top to bottom,

"what?" She says trying to sound innocent, with a clear sly smirk on her face, Jesus I could rip that off of her right now. "You know damn well what" I say grabbing her waist and pulling her in to a deep kiss. She hums into the kiss, she pulls away making me chase the kiss "c'mon mama, open your gifts" I sigh,wanting more of her, but I get gifts. I turn around and look at the smallest one, a tiny rectangle wrapped in faded wrapping paper. I pick up that one first and open it, it's a cassette tape of Led Zeppelin "no fucking way! Where'd you find it?!" I asked jumping up and down on my toes a little, "oh hun you know I have my ways" she said starring directly at me, Jesus she knows what she's doing, and I fucking love it. I put the cassette down and fully turn to her, "uh hello? You have other gifts baby" she says gesturing to the table "yeah I know, they can wait" I said as I pick her up by her waist and walk her to our bed with her legs wrapped around my waist. I kiss her, hungrier than last time.
