We were sitting on the couch mully was cuddling into my stomach as he laid between my legs I messed with the ring around my finger smiling to myself
Josh-Love?
Mully-Hm?
Josh-How much did this cost?
Mully-Is it important?

Josh-Mul you gotta be kidding why would you spend so much on me!
Mully-I'm not kidding alright I see something nice it's a few grand and I just think that you would like it so I get it it's not that big of a deal
He picked his head up and kissed my cheek resting his head back down on me I sighed
Josh-I just don't like when people spend money on me
Mully-Well get use to it
He mumbled as I smiled my phone started to ring as I picked it up answering
Josh:Hey mom what's up?
Mom:Hi honey me and your dad came to check on you but your not at home where are you?
Josh:I'm at Mullys
Mom:Oh well we really wanted to see you
Josh:It'll be fine if you guys just come over to Mullys
Mom:Oh well are you sure?
Josh:I'm sure it's fine
Mom:Oh alright we will be over in a bit
Josh:ok see you later then
Mom:Bye
I hung up laying my phone on the couch I looked down at Mully as I ran my hand through his hair I spun his hair around my fingers
As he hummed enjoying the feeling making me smile
Josh-I love you
Mully-I love you more
He mumbled half asleep as his head perked up
Mully-You didn't tell your mom did you?
Josh-No I haven't had time that's why she's coming over so I can tell
Mully-Ughhh
He groaned as I smiled
Josh-What you don't want them to know?
Mully-Not really..
Josh-Why's that love?
Mully-I can tell her or your dad doesn't like me
Josh-You can't tell that
Mully-I've learned to read body language
